Also explain why the sun goes down, which is possible in the heliocentric model, but not the flat earth model. Thank you in advance.
The sun rises, and the sun goes down, and hastens to the place where it rises.
The word translated as “rises” means “comes forth”. The word translated as “goes down” means “goes in”. But it…[Read more]

Danny, using the bible, there appears to be a number of errors. Let’s start with this one:
And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.
&
And God called the firmament (raqia) Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second…[Read more]

The raqia is called heaven. God dwells in heaven. And the waters are above the raqia. Please explain why water is higher than the Most High. We await your answer.

Here is a 5 ton ball holding onto water. It is not flying off like FEers make out.
Of course the water is falling down slowly, but that is because of earth’s gravity. But in reality, this ball is spinning hundreds if not thousands of times faster than earth.Try this yourself. Soak a tennis ball in water. Next, spin it once in 24 hours.…[Read more]

But about the Son he says,
“Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever;
a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom.”Let’s go back a bit to this verse to get some context:
“And again, when God brings his firstborn into the world, he says,”
So we can establish that God is speaking. He then speaks about angels:…[Read more]

Hey guys! and everyone else I didn’t mention,
Irenaeus wrote around AD 185 and mentions John 1:1 five times.
In one reference he comments, “‘and the Word was God,’ of course, for that which is begotten of God is God.”
Irenaeus understood Jesus as more than “a god” or a divine being of a sort.
He referred to Jesus as God.
Let me repeat wha…Proclaimer replied to the topic 1 John 5.20 – Christ is not the true God? in the forum Scriptural Teachings 3 years, 3 months ago

Hi Proclaimer,
I finally got it.
God is not a nature. He is an identity.
Thanks for making that clear.
It’s very hard to think clear sometimes because of
the things we were being indoctrinated in our past.Hey that is awesome. It really isn’t that difficult, but as you say, when you have been taught otherwise it is. We need to unlearn s…[Read more]

The Psalmist David says, “Awake, O Lord, and attend to my judgment, even to my cause, my God and my Lord.”
David was addressing only one person.Who was that one person he was addressing?

So Jesus Christ is God because he is the Son of God.
But He is not God the Father. Don’t attack strawman. Thanks.Let’s take your logic and apply it to another area where nature vs identity. See how it doesn’t work?
So Eve is Adam because she came from Adam.
But she is not Adam the first. Don’t attack strawman. Thanks. What this exa…[Read more]

I no longer believe that God is a Trinity.
I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son OF God.
There is a God and He has a Son. The Holy Spirit is God’s own Spirit, not another person.
On the point of pre-existence I’m still not sure.
Danny

He denies that the Son of God is the “true God and eternal life”. 1 John 5:20

Can you disprove the conclusion written here?

Jesus Christ is called the true God and eternal life in 1 John 5:20.
So, both the Father AND the Son are the true God.Read 1 John 5:20 again Danny.
You will see that the true God being referred to has a son.
If that is Jesus, then tell me who Jesus son is?
A better explanation to that verse is…[Read more]
