Dear Hoghead,
“Fighting like wild animals with one another” as you mentioned above is just part and parcel with being a Christian,no? I think this is the reason that St John’s Jesus prayed that we’d all become one since it was so prevalent even then. His desire was to unite Christianity which in ways I think it did since St John’s gospel is vital to the creeds and the formation of the Orthodox/Catholic church.
Btw have you ever eaten hoghead cheese? My grandparents on my father’s side raised and slaughtered pigs before my time,so I’ve heard about it but have never had the luxury of trying any.
June 13, 2016 at 4:44 pm#814824Andrew ADParticipantHello Friends,
I do think there are various reasons for people being gay and some have been mentioned but I also think some are born that way.I used to not accept this -people being born gay-as this was not in line with what the church taught but I have changed my mind in the last several years. Some people are born with both sexes and some have too many hormones of the opposite sex. I knew a woman who had a much thicker beard than me and she was gay. Also I knew a couple who were both hetero who had a son who they came to see would be different/ gay by the way he just was. They were good parents and the boy received no abuse but was always very feminine and he did turn out as a homosexual. They weren’t happy about this but always loved him and didn’t despise him for it.They accepted him for who he was or as they felt God made him.And no they were not fundamentalist Christians but moral, law abiding good people.
I have some homosexuals both male and female on both sides of my family. How they became that way or if they were born like that I don’t know.I have never been that close to them as to question them about it.But I do think one was probably born that way since he was always feminine and we called him a sissy growing up. But it was partly due to them and other lgbt’s I’ve known that lead me a few years ago to honestly allow myself to think about this issue. I always loved them and prayed for them but I couldn’t really accept them. Now i do and don’t damn them in my mind over it anymore.
June 13, 2016 at 3:39 pm#814822Andrew ADParticipantAs Christians we all believe in Father, Son and Holy Ghost and worship them in a special way whether we call them trinity or not. Despite what some here may think I am no trinitarian but rather that proud Arian but do understand the dogma and have not that immature hate I once had.
Christ is a god who hath called us to peace and prayed we’d be one, though the majority ignore and despise his prayers.
June 13, 2016 at 3:28 pm#814819Andrew ADParticipantDear Ed J, I listen to Michael Savage at least some nearly everyday. He’s my fav radio talk show host. I don’t agree with all he says but I hope he’s right about Trump.
June 13, 2016 at 3:24 pm#814817Andrew ADParticipantDear Kerwin, I agree with what you say on the interpretation of Dan 11;37 and fundamentalists do of course hate and want their antichrist to be a homosexual. But I don’t even see or agree that the verse is speaking of their fabled antichrist at all.
And Trump is not a hater of LGBT community either but he doesn’t intend to give them special privileges they certainly don’t have coming.
Stand firm against Satan and his willies !!!~
June 6, 2016 at 11:23 am#814638Andrew ADParticipantDear Kerwin, I’m quite surprised you’ve never heard the hypothesis that antichrist is homosexual since I’ve heard and read that for over thirty years. It’s a popular fundamentalist/dispensationalist idea based off Daniel 11:37 KJV -nor the desire of women. But that in no way implicates Jesus or Paul as being homosexual. Some people do think Jesus and Paul were homo’s but it’s not based off that verse.
Are you somehow paranoid about antichrist being gay? I think it’s all silly interpretations myself.
June 6, 2016 at 10:15 am#814636Andrew ADParticipantLol, this made me think of all the prophecy teachers I’ve heard who said antichrist would be a homosexual based off a verse from Daniel in the KJV which says he has no desire for women. What a twist if he’s a transgender ! 🙂
June 6, 2016 at 9:38 am#814635Andrew ADParticipantKerwin,
Or maybe Hillary is really a man,be on the lookout if you use the men’s restroom at Wal-Mart. 🙂
June 4, 2016 at 1:40 pm#814626Andrew ADParticipantOMG that’s just too much to watch and the book of Enoch is too much to read ! But I dare to say the book of Enoch is a black hole unto itself.
June 4, 2016 at 1:02 pm#814625Andrew ADParticipantDear Kerwin,
I forget them all except for Hillary who could well be Satan’s daughter come in flesh.
June 2, 2016 at 3:26 pm#814616Andrew ADParticipantHail Trump, may he be full of grace and the Lord be with him,may he be blessed among men,and blessed be the fruit of his loom.
June 1, 2016 at 1:04 pm#814596Andrew ADParticipantI can only hope God has chosen Trump rather than Hillary, but maybe God chose Hitler and Stalin too; it all depends on how you think.
May 31, 2016 at 10:11 am#814569Andrew ADParticipantYet those precious pearls may very well end up as stones in the swines innards even as Christ is that stumbling stone to Jews and unbelievers.
July 9, 2015 at 4:43 pm#800842Andrew ADParticipantThanks Kerwin but it’s obvious that God’s house is divided too and always has been. It’s just the sad truth.
July 9, 2015 at 4:23 pm#800839Andrew ADParticipantThe gun violence in America is not done in the name of Christianity and the Mexican drug gangs don’t do what they do in the name of Christ either.
But maybe some of these gangsters were baptized by their parents, who knows?
July 9, 2015 at 4:00 pm#800838Andrew ADParticipantI apologize for harping on you Nick.Don’t get me wrong,I do like you.
I’m just being honest imo; it’s nothing against you.
July 9, 2015 at 3:53 pm#800836Andrew ADParticipantBut of course you do it “by the spirit” so it’s all holy and good.
July 9, 2015 at 3:52 pm#800835Andrew ADParticipantNick,I think you do that already in your self righteous smugness. You mock yourself all the time.
July 9, 2015 at 3:46 pm#800833Andrew ADParticipantGood answer Kerwin, you sound like Nick now-“it’s all by the spirit”.
Too bad the spirit can never agree with itself.
July 9, 2015 at 3:41 pm#800830Andrew ADParticipantAnd perhaps the author of Johns prologue got his ideas from Philo? Could there be any honesty in that? or it’s just a lie from the devil?
