I turned that feature off, caps are allowed now. Hopefully people will not use it to shout in the heading.

Indeed it is a feature. I guess it is designed to stop people making their heading stand out from others and gives the discussions a uniform look.I will see if that can be turned off.

Oh, I wasn't aware of this problem/feature.I will make a test post and see if that is so.

Your suspicion is misguided.A cached version of a page is a local copy. The database doesn't contain the discussion anymore. It is not like I can FTP the cached version back to the site because the pages are generated from a database, these are not static HTML pages.
