Hi KW,
Of course God is spirit.
God does not have a body.
June 22, 2015 at 6:44 am#800003NickHassanParticipantHi C,
Adam died spiritually?
He never had the Holy Spirit and such a death is man made.

Nick,
No it is not man made.
Adam sinned, the Holy Spirit left the soul and Satana entered, the soul died simply because SATANA IS THE SPIRIT OF DEATH, GOD SUPPLIED THE FLESH AND BLOOD SUBSTANCE FOR THE SOUL!
Hebrews 2:14 Therefore because the children are partakers of flesh and blood,
THE SOUL IN THE BLOOD, AND SATANA ABIDED IN IT,
THE FACT THAT ANIMAL SACRIFICE MUST BE BURNT IN FIRE, AND FIRE REPRESENTS GOD SUBSTANCE, AND IT WOULD CONSUME ALL EVIL SPIRITS FROM WITHIN THEIR SOULS, READY TO ENTER IN HUMANS CLEAN, BUT THROUGH CONCEPTION SATANA ENTERED AGAIN SINCE IT WAS HIS RIGHT TO DO SO!
SINCE SEX WAS INTRODUCED BY SIN
SATANA’S PROCEDURE OF REPRODUCTION!
he also himself in like manner hath been partaker of the same: SO JESUS HAD TO HAVE THE SAME FLESH AND BLOOD IN ORDER TO HAVE SATANA WITHIN HIS SOUL
that, through death, he might destroy him who had THE EMPIRE OF DEATH , that is to say, the devil:
THE MYSTERY IS
SINCE MARY WAS CONCEIVED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT,
HOW SATANA STILL ENTERED IN JESUS’ SOUL???????
IF HIS PROCEDURE WAS THROUGH SEXUAL ACT ONLY???
Peace and love in Jesus

June 22, 2015 at 9:57 am#800009NickHassanParticipantHi C,
The Holy Spirit never lived in his soul.
The rest you made up.
June 22, 2015 at 10:20 am#800010kerwinParticipantNick,
I agree but some here argue he does have a body and some of those argue that the spiritual body is made if the stuff of his body.
I instead say that a body that is submissive to the Holy Spirit is physical and immortal.
Charles is more traditional Gnostic than some others that follow remnants of those teachings an yet call themselves Christians and so he believes a physical body is inherently impure.
June 22, 2015 at 10:27 am#800011kerwinParticipantCharles,
There is nothing that declares all sex as impure but rather God commanded humanity ” Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.” Sex is the method God designed us to reproduce using.
June 22, 2015 at 10:44 am#800015NickHassanParticipantHi KW,
“I instead say that a body that is submissive to the Holy Spirit is physical and immortal.”
Unless a seed falls to the ground and dies it remains but a single seed.
Are you not awaiting the new body?
June 22, 2015 at 6:31 pm#800025carmelParticipantThe Holy Spirit never lived in his soul.
Nick,
WHETHER YOU BELIEVE IT OR NOT IT’S NOT MY CONCERN BUT HEREUNDER IS THE PURE TRUTH!
God gave Adam the first living sou! THROUGH HIS BREATH!
The first living soul was:
“THE WORD” SINCE AL BY HIM, AND ALL IN HIM!
“THE WORD” IS A TRIUNE SPIRIT WHICH INCORPORATES THE HOLY SPIRIT!
THE FACT THAT LEFT THE FATHER, AND
THE FATHER IS A TRIUNE, AND
WHATEVER LEAVES THE FATHER IS ALWAYS TRIUNE,
BOTH IF IT IS EMANATED, AND CREATED!
REGARDING THE REST YOU HAVE TO PRODUCE SCRIPTURES WHICH DECLARES OTHERWISE,
TILL THEN MY STANDS
Peace and love in Jesus

June 23, 2015 at 1:42 pm#800039NickHassanParticipantHi C,
No I do not believe much of that spiritualistic rubbish at all.
You do not seem to have any scriptural base
Which bible do you rely on?
June 23, 2015 at 1:51 pm#800041NickHassanParticipantHi C,
It seems you have no respect for Jesus Christ and the prophets and apostles.
You diverge so much from their teachings.
No point then in giving you any scriptures
June 23, 2015 at 1:54 pm#800042NickHassanParticipantHi C,
Have you fallen for the folly that says MARY IS THE MOTHER OF GOD?
That is about as big an insult as you can offer God.
Even Jesus was under the curse of jb 25
June 23, 2015 at 4:14 pm#800046kerwinParticipantNick,
Hi KW,
“I instead say that a body that is submissive to the Holy Spirit is physical and immortal.”
Unless a seed falls to the ground and dies it remains but a single seed.
Are you not awaiting the new body?
The body I am in at the current time is not submissive to the Holy Spirit but subject to corruption.
I would rather be fully mature in Christ than have a new one but the result of striving the narrow gate is to be presented with a body subject to the reign of God and not one that has been handed over to the god of this world.
June 23, 2015 at 4:37 pm#800049NickHassanParticipantHi KW,
Flesh and blood cannot enter the kingdom.
They are of earth.
The Holy Spirit is not of earth but of heaven.
New body required.
June 23, 2015 at 5:00 pm#800051kerwinParticipantNick,
That is a part of a sentence you choose to take literally even though you are aware that some translate it the mortal body.
Do you have any other passage that supports your choice.
Here is one that testifies that time will be cut short in order that flesh will be saved.
Matthew 24:22Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.
Jesus was resurrected in a flesh and bone body which demonstrated that which shows that body was not the body that is the wheat or other grain that come forth.
1 Corinthians 15:50 International Standard Version
Brothers, this is what I mean: Mortal bodies cannot inherit the kingdom of God, and what decays cannot inherit what does not decay. That is three witnesses and there is more.
June 23, 2015 at 5:21 pm#800053NickHassanParticipantHi KW,
The salvation from death spoken of by Jesus is not the important second death.
Sheol consumes their flesh and the foolish have no habitation but are naked. [ps 49.12-14]
But a new house made in the heavens awaits those who are in Christ.[2 cor 5]
June 23, 2015 at 8:22 pm#800054kerwinParticipantNick,
Interesting passage;
Psalm 49:12-14American Standard Version (ASV)
12 But man being in honor abideth not: He is like the beasts that perish.
13 This their way is their folly: Yet after them men approve their sayings. Selah
14 They are appointed as a flock for Sheol; Death shall be their shepherd; And the upright shall have dominion over them in the morning; And their beauty shall be for Sheol to consume, That there be no habitation for it.
Who are the upright and who are them in ” And the upright shall have dominion over them in the morning”?
June 23, 2015 at 8:56 pm#800055NickHassanParticipantHi KW,
Those in Christ are the upright.
They arise in the first resurrection clad in new bodies.
The first resurrection is the morning of the new day, but all will be raised, the rest 1000yrs later.
Those appointed to life are greater than those who are naked souls and awaiting mercy or the second death according to their works towards Christ.

I agree that the upright are those in Christ and those not in Christ are the them but the subject of these verses is called humanity.
Does that mean those in Christ are not what these verses call humanity?
June 24, 2015 at 8:37 am#800072NickHassanParticipantHi KW,
I do not see humanity written there.
June 24, 2015 at 8:40 am#800074NickHassanParticipanthi KW,
Clearly it speaks of the differing views of how natural man and his peers judge, compared with the view of God.
Written for the Jews who are the flock mentioned.
