    GeneB.

Gog and magog is a nation of the future,
they are the gentiles that have multiplied during the thousand years. Satan is in prison.
When he is released from prison;he will go to the four corners of the earth to gather them together to a place
around the kingdom,to take a spoil.

The people that have been brought back from the sword. The people that live in peace, with no pain and no sorrows. These people are the Jews/israel; that have been brought back to life,to be taught in Christ, by the resurrected saints.
The kingdom of Christ and his saints.

Then God *himself* will destroy them and satan.
And they will be buried in aplace called *HAMON GOG*.

NOT in the valley of *HINOM*. For this is the burial place
of all that made war with the lamb.At he second coming.

Kerwin……… A Day is “as” or (same as), a thousand years with God, and a thousand years is “as” or (same as) day. Another words One equals the other in Gods time perods.

    Day= 1000 years

    1000 years= a Day.

So if we apply that to scripture we can see that there is a seven thousand year time periods and on the seventh 1000 year period will be a Sabbath or a 1000 year rest Period, That is why it say there remains a Sabbath rest unto the people of God, in Hebrews. That takes place when God will remove evil from the earth and the whole earth will be at rest, it is the 1000 year reign of Jesus and the Saints on this earth. then after that, starts another seven thousand year period. Where all thing are created new, a new heaven and a new earth. IMO

    Gene,

That is an extremely complicated interpretation. The words a day is as a thousand years and a thousand years is as a day to God is a way to express that he looks at time in a different way that us as he is the Lord of time and not its servant.

    GeneB.

    Yes thats right; exactly.
Except; after gog and magog destroyed, there will be
the second resurrection.( great white throne judgement).

This is the great judgement of *ALL* humans that had ever lived on this earth, small and great; except the saints,
for they have already inherited all things.
There will be many so called christians amongst them also.

They all will be brought back to life in the flesh.(revived).
This will be the sheep on the right, and the goats on the left.
The goats will be cast into the lake of fire;where satan and the false prophet are.

The sheep will be accepted ,and changed into spirit.

Then the earth will be melted.

    Hi WU
    You say

Jesus appeared to his brethren in the flesh.(True).
Jesus said; a spirit has no flesh as I have; go and touch me.
    A spirit has NO flesh.(true).
    He appeared as flesh indeed.

But why did Jesus show himself in the flesh with all his wounds?

This is to witness to them that He really is *HE* of whom they (jews)have crucified.
To show himself as He is; is not possible for them to see,
and no proof that He is indeed *HIM* that is crucified.
The wounds on his body testifies that he indeed is the one crucified. But He will not carry his wounds forever, but can show it if he wants to.

So Jesus was raised in his damaged flesh body but you say this was just an appearance?

“The key to understanding is to know how to decern the scriptures.

A small misinterpretation can cause a flood of errors.
    As some can see.”

    True
HIS APPEARING IS JUST FOR THEM TO SEE AND WITNESS.
TO FEEL AND TOUCH,and be convinced.”

    Hi,
Jesus was raised in his original flesh body to fulfill scripture
    Acts 2:31
He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.

    Nick

Your scripture does not support what you say.

His flesh did not rot, because he was raised before the decaying process started, and he was not left in hell, because he was raised 3 days later.

    Hi J42,
The scripture given was to show the fulfillment of a prophecy and that battered body did not rot for the whole time he remained with his brothers enlivened only by the Spirit of God.
    The decaying process begins immediately

    Hi,
    Jn 11
9 Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days.

    Hi,
The blood of Jesus poured out unto water on calvary.
Note he did not say 'flesh and blood' but 'flesh and bones' when he met the disciples in Lk 24.39

    Was he ghostly pale?

    hi

same thing is it possible to have a human body without blood to sustain it ???

I do believe you are missing Christ real message ;that has a human being we cannot go into heaven ;we have to be changed .

    Agreed.

Well, raised from the grave in the same body in which he died. But not raised to heaven in that body.

    Kerwin.

He is the God of all spirits still in the flesh,or of all spirit angels.
God is not the God of corruption.
God never meant flesh to live forever.
He knew Adam must die, before he was created.
God's kingdom in heaven is not of flesh.
Angels were not created out of the dust.

    Wakeup,

flesh is bound to corruption free it and it is no longer corrupt.

It is the Gnostics that taught matter, including the flesh, is corrupt.

They teach you must be enlightened to escape the flesh and become a spirit being.
