Hi KW,
So for you flesh and blood can inherit the kingdom?
August 27, 2014 at 6:45 pm#738936WakeupParticipantCan anyone explain what this scripture is truly saying?
Does it not mean that no one have seen Jesus as He truly is as yet?
But we know that He is now in spirit form.He is the Word of God coming with a sword in his mouth.(rev19).1 John 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; ***FOR WE SHALL SEE HIM AS HE IS***.

According to your so attempt at logical reasoning the words “FOR WE SHALL SEE HIM AS HE IS” mean the group called “we” have never seen Jesus as he is. That group at least contains John who is one the Eleven who bore witness that he said his body was flesh and bone after the resurrection.
Literally the only ones that are said to have another body are thee group called “we”
My answer is the words “For we shall see as he is does not mean anything beyond they will see him” and his body will be like those of the believers at that time.
In other words I do not see the inference that you see.
I do see the implication that Jesus will not have a body that is like the current body of believers.

Flesh and bone were created in the kingdom.
August 27, 2014 at 7:34 pm#738955kerwinParticipantNick,
The fact was that he was raised in his damaged earthly body.
That is what you say and a few translators agree. Most do not say that the body of Jesus had wounds. They instead say marks.
August 27, 2014 at 7:35 pm#738956kerwinParticipantNick,
Do you believe his resurrection was an example of the final resurrection?
August 28, 2014 at 1:16 am#739191WakeupParticipantKewin.
We: meaning all saints. No human have ever seen him as He really is.
He is as bright as the sun,or even more. When He comes. He will have white hair like wool and eyes like flaming fire
and feet like burning brass. He did not appear to the apostles as a bright sun.
Paul just saw a vision of Jesus, and he was blinded for three days.
Jesus showed himself as the man he was; when he was with them, only now bruised.
For a witness that He was the same one crucified.
Can you not understand plain scripture? Man can not see and touch spirit; why should Jesus appear as spirit?
He must show himself as He was with them. This glorified flesh doctrine comes from this world.
For flesh profited nothing; only good for manure. Just like dung upon the earth. Dust to dust. Not dust to glorified dust.
Our souls will be judged, not our flesh. Souls, man can not kill, but only God can kill the soul.
The essence of a person will be judged. Good essence or bad essence. Good works or bad works.
It’s the inside of a person that counts; and one can see it by his works/caracter.
A good person does not do evil works.
wakeup.

You say:
No human have ever seen him as He really is.
1 John 3:2 states:
***FOR WE SHALL SEE HIM AS HE IS***
These statements mean two different things.

The resurrection of Jesus to fulfill the scriptural promises is not a foretaste of ours.
He was taken up and that is how we will follow him. changed, to meet him in the air.

Was Thomas invited to put his fingers and hand in MARKS?
August 28, 2014 at 8:54 am#739644NickHassanParticipantHi KW,
Flesh and blood were created in the kingdom??
Which kingdom and why should this relate?
August 28, 2014 at 8:55 am#739645NickHassanParticipantSorry KW,
Flesh and bone.
Everything now seen is passing away.
The new creation is not of the mud of the earth

Hi KW,

Flesh and bone was created in the kingdom of God. It relates as flesh and bone is clearly a thing of the kingdom of God or Eve would not of been flesh of Adam’s flesh and bone of Adam’s bone, Genesis 2:23.

WHERE DOES IT SAY THAT THEIR WOULD BE NO MORE FLESH ?
August 28, 2014 at 9:58 am#739653kerwinParticipantNick,
Flesh and bone.
Everything now seen is passing away.
The new creation is not of the mud of the earth
Does that include the souls of believers?
If there is any exception then it is clear that the word everything is not all inclusive.
In addition I cannot find where Scripture actually states everything is passing away. Could you please give me the address in Scripture? Thank you!

Jesus does not say anything about prints or marks but Thomas does.
John 20:25Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
25 The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.
John 20:25American Standard Version (ASV)
25 The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.
Thomas claims he will not believe unless he sees the marks and feels Jesus side.

You might want to rethink your position as you may not be aware that it is written:
1 Corinthians 15:12-14American Standard Version (ASV)
12 Now if Christ is preached that he hath been raised from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?
13 But if there is no resurrection of the dead, neither hath Christ been raised:
14 and if Christ hath not been raised, then is our preaching vain, your faith also is vain.
So you are essentially claiming that Jesus was not raised from the dead as those of the final resurrection will be raised making this argument out to be false. For if Jesus is not an example of the final resurrection then he cannot be use as evidence there is a final resurrection.
August 28, 2014 at 11:05 am#739735NickHassanParticipantHi KW,
We too will be raised from the dead but clothed for our ascent as we follow him.
August 28, 2014 at 11:19 am#739753terrariccaParticipantNICK
THE WAY YOU THINK OF CHRIST I HAVE DOUBTS YOU WILL MEET HIM ANYWHERE AT ALL ,PERHAPS ON EARTH IN THE SECOND RESURRECTION
August 28, 2014 at 1:07 pm#739860NickHassanParticipantHi T,
That is your judgement?
Are you appointed a judge?
