Please take the time to read these scriptures. The same people who taught the trinity taught that the commandments were done away with. Are we to believe what we were taught and not what the word says?
DO YOU WANT TO BE THE LEAST IN THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN (MAT. 5:19)?
There are two kinds of Law one writen by God and one God gave Moses to write:
God's Law, the Law He wrote: The Ten Commandments (Deu. 10:1-5)
Deu 10:1 At that time Jehovah said unto me, Hew thee two tables of stone like unto the first, and come up unto me into the mount, and make thee an ark of wood.
Deu 10:2 And I will write on the tables the words that were on the first tables which thou brakest, and thou shalt put them in the ark.
Deu 10:3 So I made an ark of acacia wood, and hewed two tables of stone like unto the first, and went up into the mount, having the two tables in my hand.
Deu 10:4 And HE WROTE ON THE TABLETS, according to the first writing, the ten commandments, which Jehovah spake unto you in the mount out of the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly: and Jehovah gave them unto me.
Deu 10:5 And I turned and came down from the mount, and put the “TABLETS IN THE ARK” which I had made; and there they are as Jehovah commanded me.Moses' Law, the Law God gave to Moses: The ritual sacrificial Law (Deu. 31:9 & 26)
Deu 31:9 And MOSES WROTE THIS LAW, and delivered it unto the priests the sons of Levi, that bare the ark of the covenant of Jehovah, and unto all the elders of Israel.
Deu 31:10 And Moses commanded them, saying, At the end of every seven years, in the set time of the year of release, in the feast of tabernacles
Deu 31:26 Take this book of the law, and put it BY THE SIDE of the ark of the covenant of Jehovah your God, that it may be there for a WITNESS AGAINST THEE . (COMPARE Col. 2:14)Col 2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ORDINANCES AGAINST US, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
Notice that God wrote the Ten Commandments (not Moses) and Moses placed them IN THE ARK.
Notice the Law that God gave Moses law to write (Moses' Law) then MOSES COMMANDED them to be placed by the side of the ark by a priest. Also notice that the ritual/sacrificial law was “a witness against us”
“God commanded Moses” to place the Ten Commandments in the Ark.
“Moses commanded the priest” to place the Sacrifical Law which was written by him to place “that” Law by the side of the ark. This why it is called Moses Law, Moses wrote it and commanded it to be placed by the side (most say in the side).
1Ki 8:9 There was nothing in the ark save the two tables of stone which Moses put there at Horeb, when Jehovah made a covenant with the children of Israel, when they came out of the land of Egypt.
Solomon opened the ark and found only the Ten Commandments that God wrote. There were no sacrificial laws. This shows a separation of the Law and that the sacrificial laws would be fulfilled by Jesus the Christ and done away with.
Luk 24:44 And he said unto them, These are my words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must needs be fulfilled, which are “written in the law of Moses”, and the prophets, and the psalms, concerning me.
Jesus was the sacrificial lamb of God that paid our debt. When Jesus was crucified He fulfilled and did away with THAT LAW 'Moses' Law.
1Co 7:19 Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing; but the keeping of the commandments of God.
What matters is the keeping of the comandments of God.Col 2:14 having blotted out the bond written in ordinances that WAS AGAINST US, which was contrary to us: and he hath taken it out that way, nailing it to the cross;
Col 2:16 For this reason let no man be your judge in any question of food or drink or feast days or new moons or Sabbaths:
What does the Ten Commandments have to do with Food, drink, feast days, new moons and annual Sabbaths? (BBE)
Clearly Col. 2:16 is speaking of ritual and sacrificial laws and NOT the Ten Commandments.
Paul's writings are hard to understand:
2Pe 3:15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also, according to the wisdom given to him, wrote unto you;
2Pe 3:16 as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; wherein are some things hard to be understood, which the ignorant and unstedfast wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
2Pe 3:17 Ye therefore, beloved, knowing these things beforehand, beware lest, being carried away with the error of the wicked, ye fall from your own stedfastness.People say that Paul said that the Ten Commandment Law was done away with. Did He?
How could this same Paul (who's writings are hard to understand)that kept and taught on the Sabbath tell people that the Sabbath was done away with and now we are to worship on the first day (there was no name for any day except the seventh day)
Paul said: What matters is the keeping of God's commandments (1Cor. 7:19).
How can Paul in Acts 17:2 keep the Sabbath and three chapters later keep the first day.Act 20:7 And upon the first day of the week, when we were gathered together to break bread Paul discoursed with them, intending to depart on the morrow; and prolonged his speech until midnight.
They gathered together to break bread. But they broke bread everyday not just on the first day.
Act 2:46 And day by day, continuing stedfastly with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread at home, they took their food with gladness and singleness of heart..
Paul kept the commandments if read carefully Paul's writings were speaking of the ritual sacrificial law. When spoke of the Ten as being the Law to point out sin he usually says something like: Are the commandments done away with? God forbid!
My friends you cannot get away from the Law:
If you break the Law you sin! If you keep the Law you don't sin! (1John 3:4)
How can the Law be done away with?
Have heaven and earth passed away?
Mat 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass away from the law, till all things be accomplished.
All things have not been accomplished:
1Co 15:26 The last enemy that shall be abolished is death.
God's peace to you all,

Here's what the Bible says about the law:
Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.(Rom 7:12)For we know that the law is spiritual…(Rom 7:14a)
The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.
The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.
The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.(Ps. 19:7-9)The purpose of the law:
Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression.(Rom. 4:15)It is the law that shows us what sin is.
Who the Law made for:
Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,
For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if t
here be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;(1Tim. 1:9-10)The law was made to lead us to Christ by showing us our sin. Once we are in Christ we are no longer under the law us as long as we walk in the spirit.
But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law (Gal. 5:18)
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.(Rom. 8:1)
BUT when we sin we are placed back under the law because it is the law that tells us what sin is. God never destroyed the law because there was nothing wrong with the law. Ceremonial law yes, but moral law no.
The law says the speed limit is 35 mph. If I abide by the law I am not condemned by it (under it), but when I drive 40 then I am under the condemnation of the law, and it is that law that the judge will use as the standard.

I agree Sultan,I'm glad that you see the separation of the Commandments and the sacrifical law of Moses. I wasn't sure if anyone agreed with me on this.
So if you teach that the Law was changed (done away with as some teach in today's church) you would be the least in the Kingdom as Jesus said (Matt5:19).
The churches I went to all taught that Jesus fulfilled the LAW Comandments and sacrificial law. For years it haunted me scriptures in 1 John and Revelation 1 Cor. 7:19 until the Lord showed me Deu. 10:1-5 and 31:9,26; 1 Kings 8:9.
Jesus made the Law spiritual and no longer of the letter.
Now here is my question: What do we do with the fourth Commandment, the Sabbath day? Jesus taught the Sabbath was made for man not man for the sabbath as the Pharisees were teaching the letter of the Law. If your house were on fire you couldn't lift a water hose to put out the fire as that was against the sabbath Law. But Jesus made the Law spiritual and did not do away with the Law (Matt. 5:19).
You can look at acts 20 :7 where they gathered on the first day to break bread. But they broke bread everyday.
Act 2:46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart
1Co 16:1 Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, even so do ye.
1Co 16:2 Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.On this first day Paul instructed the people to lay up in store (food) and that they would be no gathering when he came.
It seems that if the first day were the weekly worship day they would already have been gathered fo ma service.
Would an evangilist tell people not to gather on Sunday so when he came he could collect the offering?
Do you see what I'm saying. These people who taught the Trinity also taught the Law done away with.
For that reason alone I think we should look at the sabbath through “untaught” eyes.I don't find where the sabbath was changed to the first day.
It was not until the “early church “fathers” in the second or third centry changed the seventh day to the first. Constantine who was crowned by the Catholic bishop Emperior made a pagan day(sun worshipers) the resurrection day.
Jesus was not resurrected on the first day. The tomb was found empty on the first day.
Jesus said He would be in the earth three days and three nights ( Matt.12:40 ).
You cannot get 3 days and 3 nights from Friday afternoon to Sunday morning.
Jesus died Wednessday afternoon and was resurrected Saturday at sunset.
I know this seems strange because we were taught different but serch it out.
We were taught the Trinity also!Lets keep serching for truth!

June 11, 2020 at 2:20 am#864516GeneBalthropParticipantThe ten comandments have never been done away with, they are eternal and are fulfilled by love of God, working (she’d abroad) in the heart of those who are lead by the spirit of GOD . The “law” (forced compliance) is done away , but the Love of God, shead abroad in our hearts, fulfills all the commandments of God. Those who are moved by that love of God, written in their hearts, need no law, which works through the medium of fear, to cause compliance. They are moved by the “love” of God shed abroad in their hearts. “For LOVE, fulfills the commandments of God, therefore no “LAW”, “FORCED COMPLIANCE” is needed.
Peace and love to you all and yours. ………gene
