You changed that to 'life', why?Jesus does not 'give' life, per se, he will 'save' life. Life is by the spirit and we have that from God.
When we die, our spirit goes back to God until the resurrection and judgement and is held in a suspended, limbo state.
At the judgement, Jesus will determine who will renew their spirit in a new body (be given 'life') or have their spirit destroyed in the final, permanent, death.Hi all,
Paul said all things come FROM God THROUGH Jesus. Can you see the difference between that statement and the one that the Trinitarians try to push. They say all things come from God AND Jesus. That is not what the Scriptures teach. John said THROUGH him all things came into existence and without him nothing was made that has been made. Do you see the pattern? From God, through Jesus.

The experts tell us that our view of God as a father is a reflection of our rearing as children. So please tell us what happened to you that has caused you to think that God is an unrighteous and mean father.
Maybe you will lose some of your frustration if you resolve some of these things.

Right on, Gene,The fact that Jesus willingly sacrificed his life for us is admirable, but Trinitarians lose sight of the fact that Jesus' life was a gift from God in the first place, as are all of ours.

So Gene. It comes out now. The Father who you say you glorify is not the greatest gift after all. You say that the greatest gift is life. Uh…did you forget what Jesus said? He said this,“And this is eternal life; that they might know thee the only true God and Jesus Christ whom He has sent.”
You say that the greatest gift is eternal life. Jesus said that eternal life is to know the Father. Therefore, Jesus Christ gives the greatest gift.

Having eternal life is more important than knowing the Father to Gene. If he admits that knowing the Father is the greatest gift, then he must give Christ the credit for giving him the greatest gift for it is Christ who reveals the Father..
So Gene's theology is more about taking credit from Christ than about having and glorifying the Father.

JA,This is what I said before and you did not accept it. God made a covenant with Christ and He cannot take back the kingdom unless Christ sins. You agree that Christ would not sin. Therefore, Christ would deliever the kingdom to the Father and become subject OF HIS OWN VOLITION AND NOT BECAUSE HE IS REQUIRED.
