kerwinParticipantQuote (Nick Hassan @ Feb. 25 2009,03:44) Hi KW,
Do you think all angels can mate with humans or just the Sons of God[gen6]
I do not believe angels mate with humans at all since Jesus definitely implied they did not when he said we would be like angels after the resurrection.Genesis 6 is speaking of the sons of Seth finding the daughters of Cain to be attractive. I am convinced that is through that crossbreeding between the two lines that we inherited part of the curse of Cain in that we are cut off from the sight of God.
Genesis 4:13-14(NIV) reads:
Quote Cain said to the LORD, “My punishment is more than I can bear. Today you are driving me from the land, and I will be hidden from your presence; I will be a restless wanderer on the earth, and whoever finds me will kill me.”

Angels are not the only ones called “sons of God”Deuteronomy 14:1(NIV) reads:
Quote You are the children of the LORD your God. Do not cut yourselves or shave the front of your heads for the dead, 2 for you are a people holy to the LORD your God. Out of all the peoples on the face of the earth, the LORD has chosen you to be his treasured possession.
So which line of humanity at the time of human did God call His children?
Matthew 22:30(NIV) reads:
Quote At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven.
I just do not see angels having sex outside of marriage.

Amen Kerwin!! The “sons of God”, that is, the godly line of Seth had corrupted themselves by intermarrying with the daughters of Cain. This in turn corrupted the line through which the Messiah was to come. So God started the line all over again by wiping them all out in the flood except for Noah and his family.
The idea that it was spirit beings which had intercourse with human women is outrageous! God said that each [flesh] must bring forth after its own kind.

But horses and donkeys are the same kind.If you want to believe that spirit beings had a physical penis and could ejaculate and penetrate into human women then go ahead and believe that. But if you don't want to be a laughing stock you will stop pushing it.

So birds and fish must not be mated?
I heard a debate at San Diego State University where a Biologist challenged Dr. Gish of Creatiion Research with the statement, “I believe and ape could mate with a human female and reproduce – I challenge you to run the experiment.”Dr. Gish responded, “you are the scientist, the responsibilty is yours to run the experiment.”
To what end would one mate birds and fish???

What your point is in mating fish and birds or even suggesting it I do not know. I guess the biologist had his point. What's yours.Seeking

Did Noah take two donkeys and two horses onto the Ark?
They are not the SAME KINDGen6
19″And of every living thing of all flesh, you shall bring two of every kind into the ark, to keep them alive with you; they shall be male and female.20″Of the birds after their kind, and of the animals after their kind, of every creeping thing of the ground after its kind, two of every kind will come to you to keep them alive.

You are getting into a part of biology which from my research even biologists seem to ignore overall. If a greyhound mates with a pit bull their offspring could be called a crossbreed and yet it is still a dog. Wolves and dogs are pretty much the same animal genetically except one has been domesticated for a long time. Donkeys and Horses also crossbreed but their young is often but not always infertile. So I agree with The Thinker that they are the same kind of animal which God has caused genetic changes in for his purpose. That purpose probably has something to do with what he wants each type of animal to do. We have observations of God doing this in various species though maybe not the exact type of change that exists between donkeys and horses. Darwin’s Finches are a famous case of this though you can see the same thing in the various breeds of dogs, cats, horses, etc.

Seeking,
Nick is a stubborn a_s, uh, I mean to say, he is a stubborn Equus asinus. He doesn't care about the facts. If he did he would shut up when proven wrong rather than make an asinus of himself.thinker
