And you are right, I've learned many things from many people on HN.  Did you just show up here knowing everything already?  I saw you used the “all things were created THROUGH Jesus” the other day.    Do you remember when I pointed it out to you that it wasn't really “BY” Jesus, but “THROUGH”? It seems we all learn from each other here, huh?

The Greek “dia” means “by direct agency” unless the context indicates an intermediate agent. In John 1:1-3,10 there is only one agent mentioned which is Christ. Therefore, He is the direct agent of creation.
