Bruce…Welcome to the site, I believe Jodi has proven her points by using scriptures. But i believe Nick is solid in his BELIEF in JESUS AND HIS FAITH IN GOD THE FATHER ALSO. Were all still learning, and i in joy when members explain things using scriptures as their bases of understandings, things they proclaim. That is something Jodi does well, i wish more would.

The dragon is said to be Kings, Kings are said to dwell in heaven and be cast out of heaven. We see this in several scriptures that I have already produced. This is NOT producing a lie of saying the dragon does not exist. This is me keeping in LINE with what the scriptures ACTUALLY REVEAL to us, verses that which they do not. Those in power are said to have their greatness reach the heavens and they will be cut down from heaven, and God’s children are said to be heavenly, the WAR in heaven is not a literal WAR up in the sky between fallen angels and God’s angels. The war is between MEN who follow their own hearts and imaginations, verses those that have God’s angels set over them to protect them against these MEN. We saw this very thing throughout the OT. Do you know anything about the miracles and the angels from the 6 Day War in 1967?? In Revelation when the wicked Kings and their messengers have their powers cut, they go forth in rage to persecute God’s people.

The bible sets up a strong foundation of truth with passages that need absolutely no interpretation but speak for themselves. I rely on that truth, I have given countless scriptures showing what that foundation is and hold firm to it as I seek to understand passages that aren’t quite so directly understood by themselves. As well, when one knows that we have many different bibles with different translations, with translators translating through their own doctrine of beliefs, it is pertinent to look at the original word and it’s meaning. This is how one can decipher TRUTH from TRADITION. The NT seems to hold the greatest challenge, however when one relies on the OT I have discovered that some of the more difficult passages from the NT become quite clear.
Continuing to cherry pick the non direct scriptures, or the scriptures that are not TRANSLATED simply with the ORIGINAL WORD, but a word FORMED FROM a DOCTRINE, and relying on the Book of Enoch for further understanding, and denying clear passages that give direct meaning. just makes your so called truth Nick a complete disaster.

For instance I say that I believe the scripture when it says that the dragon represents KINGS, but to you that is just “empty wisdom” because I do not assert a double meaning?

Nick….where does the “world” teach what Jodi has said, the world teaches that there is actual devils and demons beings that are not the people themselves, but Jesus said the people of his day were the childern of the devil and they did the deeds of him. So were is she wrong saying that men themselves are the ones acting as devils? What did she say that was counterdicting scripture, tell us and try to be specific. PAGAN nations of old, believed in all kinds of false teaching about thing they did not understood even to this day that is true..

Jesus Christ taught a lot about the devil and the demons and he cast them out as part of his ministry.
You will need to deny all this to enable your rationalisations.

Nick please share scripture with us where Jesus taught “A LOT” about demons, can you find a scripture where Jesus defines them, where he tells us where they come from?
Scripture uses demons and unclean spirits interchangeably. We see in the OT that God cast an unclean spirit onto Saul and David healed him.
The NT likewise TEACHES us that Jesus can HEAL unclean spirits through God’s Spirit, as David did. He heals the unclean spirits the SAME way he heals leprosy. You have not addressed to my knowledge, the FACT that Jesus says a demon was DEAF and DUMB, and that GOD SAYS he MAKES the deaf and dumb. Wouldn’t that be Jesus “teaching” us that unclean spirits are caused through God’s power, that He ALONE says that He has?
Funny how you say I am speaking of a “worldly view”. In the VIEW of MOST Chrisitans the worldly Christian view, it is just as yours!!
The non Christian “worldly view”, is that there is no God and therefore there are no curses placed upon man, that there is no God that is longsuffering towards us bringing men to righteousness.
So PLEASE sir, tell me EXACTLY how my view is WORLDLY? Oh is it because I am using my OWN IMAGINATION and not scripture? But wait men don’t use their own imagination according to you, they are just vessels that turn to sin because they are possessed by supernatural wicked spirits, right?
What next Nick, are you going to accuse me of being a vessel to a supernatural wicked spirit?…this mom and wife, who when she is not folding laundry, cooking dinner, picking up dog poop, coaching sports, driving kids around, consulting and coaching teachers and parents on the social emotional development of preschool children in her full time job, working with young children who have suffered trauma from various forms of horrible abuse, and studying the Word of God, is ALSO a vessel possessed by a supernatural wicked spirit?
You do say that the WORLDLY VIEW is according to a slanderer who you identify as a supernatural rebel spirit being, and that mankind is a vessel possessed by this being following this worldly view, correct?
What Jesus teaches us about the satan/devil is that he called them directly as MEN, Peter and Judas, and it was BECAUSE they had IN MIND the things of MEN as JESUS SAID, he said nothing about supernatural rebel spirits, now did he?
What Jesus teaches us is that men DEFILE themselves from within, and if they defile themselves from within wouldn’t that make the slanderer/devil men themselves? …wouldn’t that make them saw-tawn/adversaries themselves? ..and would be EXACTLY WHY he called men such????????????????
