    Gene:

You: Truthcomber. …..So we then are not the sons of God also? Interesting ,

Me: What is interesting is that you misquote and half quote what others and the bible state: I did not once say that we are not the sons of God. On the contrary, I have maintain that we are. We become sons of God by putting on Christ. We do not become sons of God directly. There is only on true God and one true Son of God.
This is what I had said recently: We are one with Christ who is one with God. We become one with God only through Christ and only through Christ.

John 14:20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.

    Father >  < Son  >  <  followers

Me: Does this sound like we are not sons of God? We are sons of God through Christ’s death, resurrection, and glorification (by the baptism of the spirit).

Romans 11:4 God forbid: yea, let GOD BE TRUE, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.

Me: Was Christ a liar?  If not, he must be God in the tabernacle like a man. In fact, he had a body a little lower than the angels.

1 John 5:20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him (me: the Father) that is true, and we are in him (me:  Christ) that is true , even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

Me: There is one true God and one true Son of God. Together they are God. God bore his only begotten son after his resurrection and glorification. We are sons of God through Christ. Christ is the Son of God through his Father.

    Gene:

You: Rom 8:14….For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the “sons of God”.
Rom 8:17 ….and if childern, then heirs; heirs of God, “and” joint-heirs “with” Christ; if so be we suffer with him, that we may be glorified “together”.
1 John 3:1… Behold, what manner of love the Father has bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God; therefore the world knows us not, because it knew him not. Beloved, “now” we are the sons of God, and it does not yet appear what we shall be: but we know when he shall appear, we shall “be like him” ; for we shall see him “as he is”. (3) And every man that has this hope in him purifies himself, “even as he is pure”.

Me: Gene, I have not denied these scriptures as I have used them many times. You make it seem like I have never used them and am seeing them for the first time, being introduced by you here. Christ is the only TRUE son of God. We are sons of God by ADOPTION. Christ was the only begotten son of God at conception.

    New American Standard Bible
John 1:18 No one has seen God at any time; the only begotten (3449) GOD who is in the BOSOM of the Father, He has explained Him…14 And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.
    monogenés: only begotten
    Original Word: μονογενής, ές
    Part of Speech: Adjective
    Transliteration: monogenés
    Phonetic Spelling: (mon-og-en-ace’)
    Definition: only begotten
    Usage: only, only-begotten; unique.
    HELPS Word-studies
3439 monogenḗs (from 3411 /misthōtós, “one-and-only” and 1085 /génos, “offspring, stock”) – properly, one-and-only; “one of a kind” – literally, “one (monos) of a class, genos” (the only of its kind).

Me: Three points are here. Christ was conceived in the bosom of his father and sent to earth in the womb of his surrogate mother. This is verified by the below scripture. Christ had the seed of David in him, which is his humanity,  the human nature of David (Heb 2:16). His body was made a little lower than angels at conception, but much higher than angels at his glorification.

John 5:37 And the Father himself, which HATH SENT ME, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape.
John 6:39 And this is the Father’s will which HATH SEND ME, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.

Point two. The book of John was written by John much later after Christ had raised from the dead. So when John wrote “only begotten son” he meant forever from the time of Christ’s conception.

Point three: Christ was the only one risen from the dead as the natural son of God.

Acts 13:33 God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten (born) thee.
    Col 1:18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. 19 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;

Me: God is the literal father of Christ. The fullness of God in Christ came at his glorification as the literal son of God. He did not have this fullness  at birth. He grew in the spirit to obtain that fullness.

Eph 1:5 Having predestinated us unto the ADOPTION  of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

Me: When we are baptized by holy spirit, we die and raise with Christ into a new life. No man in the Old Testament was called the spiritual Son of God.  This is a New Testament phenonium. Only Adam was mentioned as a Son of God (of the flesh) because he came directly from God (Luke 3:38).  He had no ancestors.

Romans 8:23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body

Me: The last step is our new bodies when Christ returns. In summary, we are born into a new life through Christ. We are called the sons of God now. But we do not become fully sons of God unless we endure to the end.

Matt 10:22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.

    Gene:

    You:

But you people move Jesus away from yourselves making him different then we are, your doctrine is a “Doctrine of Seperation” you simply do not believe in a flesh Jesus, nor do you believe that the flesh man Jesus had to be baptized inorder for him to do the will of God.

You certanily do not believe in an anointed man, Jesus. You believe in a preexisting Jesus who was a savior and a deity or God, before him comming into his “only” existence on the earth, a pure HUMAN man who had to be resurected in order to have eternal life in him.

Me: Again you say something about what I believe that is absolutely false.  I have never once believed that the Messiah pre-existed.  Show me.  Christ did not need to be baptized.   He is the Son of God with the holy spirit in him from conception.  I had shown that to you many times.

Have you notice that you quote partial scriptures and partial quotes from others that are not true of what they said many times.

“A Lie Repeated Often Enough Becomes Accepted Truth”

“Make the lie big, make it simple, keep saying it, and eventually they will believe it”

Gene and Jodi, I will never ever believe your lies.

    Hi All,

I have to make one big modification

The IMAGE OF GOD EXISTED FROM ETERNITY and is the Expression of God. The image of God existed as the WORD OF GOD and was responsible for all creation and revelation. It still is. It is the image of the MIND OF GOD.

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was WITH God, and the Word WAS GOD. 2 The same was in the beginning WITH God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

Me: The Word of God is the image of God and existed from eternity. “With” shows subordination as the Father or God is greater than his image, but both are ONE:

Mark 12:29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; YHWH our God is one YHWH:

John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh (me: or made one with the fleshly mind of the Messiah), and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the ONLY begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth…18 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.

    English Standard Version
Heb 1:3 He is the radiance of the glory of God and the EXACT IMPRINT of his nature (Me: 5281— heart and mind), and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,

    https://biblehub.com/greek/5287.htm

2 Cor 5:18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 To wit, that GOD (John 1:1) WAS IN CHRIST, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

Me: The expressed image of God’s mind was in Christ—the Word was in Christ.

Isa 43:11 I, even I, am YHWH and beside me there is no saviour.

Matt 1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Yasha (savior)  for he shall save his people from their sins.

Truthcomber. …. right , the word was “in” Christ (Jesus) ,  via the anointing he recieved, That is right, but that never made the (anointed one ) the man Jesus the word “himself” . You have that the exactly right, If I follow what you are saying correctly.

Peace and love to you and yours. ……gene

    Hi Gene

You said:    Jesus was raised with a spritual body, he was not and is not a spirit of anykind, but a physical human being, who has the spirit of the living God “in” him, just as we shall also be.

Me: I beg to differ with you.you must of not read the whole story. Jesus was raised with a physical body but was changed sometime  before He  got to His Father in heaven, flesh and blood can’t inherit the Kingdom. We are raised the same way physical body, then we are changed to a spiritual body in a twinkle of a eye. Like I said flesh and blood can’t enter the Kingdom of heaven .

Gene is that part of your Jesus Christ being just a man doctrine. You should check in with your teacher Jodi before you go out on your own.

    Hi TC,

YOU:The IMAGE OF GOD EXISTED FROM ETERNITY and is the Expression of God. The image of God existed as the WORD OF GOD and was responsible for all creation and revelation. It still is. It is the image of the MIND OF GOD.

ME: God exists with Powers, His Spirit is the source of all truth and righteousness, His Spirit is Wisdom, Understanding, Council and Might, Knowledge, it is love, patience, kindness, generous, sympathy, forgiveness..etc..

Man is a creature that God is mindful of, He visits him, He instructs him, He has mercy on him, He shares with man His Wisdom, His Understanding, His love, His kindness, etc.. it enters our hearts and minds and we are able to do good by it. Such is why Jesus calls him OUR Father, as in his Father and my Father.

Unlike the animals we are the only creature on earth designed in God’s image, God made man in His own image, we are able through our mind and our hearts to receive of God. When God is ALL in ALL then ALL are existing in the image of God that God specifically designed humans to be made into. Jesus is the firstborn of those who God is ALL in ALL, he was the first human made perfect.

WITHOUT God and Him sharing His Spirit with us we would be like serpents, like dogs, like all other creatures who know not God, who only know what they know naturally, like that of a brute beast. Without any measure of God’s Spirit we are fully an earthly man, fully carnally minded. With full measure of God’s Spirit we are heavenly.

God’s WORD which is powerful and true, promised before time began saying ETERNAL LIFE to mankind would be accomplished. God speaks it and it shall be done. God’s word certainly tells us what is in the mind of God.

Here we see the mind of God, and we can see that God in His mind had a plan,

Acts 2:22 And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfill all my will. 23 Of this man’s seed hath God according to his promise raised unto Israel a Saviour, Jesus:

The mind of God we know of it, because God has spoken to us by it, by the prophets, by Jesus, by the apostles.

Jesus spoke of that plan that came from the mind of God, and it is to be spoken by us in a prayer to God,

Luke 11:2 And he said unto them,When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.

    Hi TC,

The one who is in the image of God is the one who God made perfect and raised firstborn of the dead. He is the image of the invisible God, the one who shed his blood. We are to be like minded with him, as a man who was led by God’s Spirit learning obedience through suffering.

Genesis 9:6 Whoso sheddeth man’s blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man.

14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: 15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

Romans 8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

We are to become the image of Jesus, for Jesus is the image of God, he is an heir of God and we are heirs of God, joint heirs wit Christ.

TC and ALL, Jesus is not the firstborn of sin and death, that is the First Adam, Jesus is the new man, the Last Adam, the man of righteousness and eternal life, and as the Last Adam he is firstborn of every creature, overall the earth, all things are made NEW, even the lamb and the lion.

Jesus’s followers had to hold onto their faith through suffering, where Jesus had to hold onto not only faith but to all righteousness and remain pure through his.

1 Peter 1:: 7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honor and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ.

Revelation 2:10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.

2 Timothy 2:18 And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

That crown of life is receiving of the image of the heavenly man entering into the heavenly kingdom, being made into the image of Jesus The Anointed who was raised from the dead.

49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

The image of the heavenly is the MAN who God perfected. God had called him to righteousness where God held his hand and kept him, where he would not fail to obey.

    1 Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles. 2 He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street. 3 A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment unto truth. 4 He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he have set judgment in the earth: and the isles shall wait for his law. 5 Thus saith God the LORD, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein: 6 I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles;

    Hi Anthony,

YOU: I beg to differ with you. you must of not read the whole story. Jesus was raised with a physical body but was changed sometime before He got to His Father in heaven, flesh and blood can’t inherit the Kingdom. We are raised the same way physical body, then we are changed to a spiritual body in a twinkle of a eye. Like I said flesh and blood can’t enter the Kingdom of heaven.

ME: You are told directly that Jesus was raised in glory, incorruptible! Jesus said he was flesh and bones, there is NO blood. There is also NO scripture that speaks of his body that you speak of. We are given scripture on the contrary,

11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

35 But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come?

The body that Jesus was raised up with is the body we are raised up with.

Anthony, how can you say that we are to be made like Jesus was made when he ascended to heaven, when Paul tells you we are to be raised as Jesus was raised from the dead? NOT as when he ascended to heaven.

38 But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body.

42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body.

    VERY CLEAR,

42 So also is the resurrection of the dead…it is raised in incorruption.

as Jesus was RAISED from the dead given a spiritual body, we too receive the same body.

THE PROMISE was NOT for Jesus to ascend into heaven and receive a spiritual body. The promise was that the flesh that was without spot or blemish would not see decay but eternal life.

    Hi Jodi,

You quoted me: The IMAGE OF GOD EXISTED FROM ETERNITY and is the Expression of God. The image of God existed as the WORD OF GOD and was responsible for all creation and revelation. It still is. It is the image of the MIND OF GOD.

You: God exists with Powers, His Spirit is the source of all truth and righteousness, His Spirit is Wisdom, Understanding, Council and Might, Knowledge, it is love, patience, kindness, generous, sympathy, forgiveness..etc..

    Me:

Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is NO LAW. 24 And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

Jodi tell me, had the prophets crucified their flesh without the advent of Christ? First of all, please answer yes or no. I say no. The prophets had NOT crucified the flesh. Only after Pentecost has the baptism of the holy spirit done that.

Were the prophets under the law? Are we under the law? Please answer yes or no (hint read Gal 5:22 above).
The prophets could follow the holy spirit but without the human mind and soul of Christ in it. They could not resurrect from the dead with Christ until Pentecost.

    Matt 5:25 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live. 26 For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;
1 Cor 15:45 And so it is written, “The first man Adam became a living being.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.

Me: On the Mount of Olives, the Messiah expounded on what is included in what is now the New Covenant (Matt 5:18-48). It is love of God through Christ that fulfills the old and brings on the new.

Rom 13:10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

Gal 5:14 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

Me: Therefore, the human love of man in the spirit of God makes it possible to fulfill Gal 5:22-23.

John 15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

    Hi Jodi,

You: The mind of God we know of it, because God has spoken to us by it, by the prophets, by Jesus, by the apostles.
Jesus spoke of that plan that came from the mind of God, and it is to be spoken by us in a prayer to God,

Me: We know the mind of God because we know the spirit mind of his son. The prophets knew the mind of God by the Word of God, or the spirit mind thereof, which in now a part of Christ. The plan of God is not the Word of God.

John 14: If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

Heb 1:3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person (mind), and upholding all things by the WORD of his power,

Me: Christ’s spirit mind is the express image of his Father, who is invisible spirit (a mind of the spirit). The Word of God represents all the words of God. He is the spokesman.

Heb 1:1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the PROPHETS,

Me: The prophets had to get the word of God through someone to speak them through us. Who was it?

1 Kings 12:22 But the Word of God came unto Shemaiah the man of God, SAYING,

1 Chr 17:3 And it came to pass the same night, that the Word of God came to Nathan, saying,

John 5:37 And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither hard you heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape.

Me: The Word of God is the expressed image of the mind of God in John 1:1-3 and is God. He spoke to the prophets who spoke to the Israelites and to us by his written word they recorded.

    Heb 1:2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

Me: Now he speaks to us by the Word of God that became one with the seed (offspring) of David (human heart and mind).   The Son of God spoke to the APOSTLES who spoke to those at that time at to us by their written words.

    Hi Jodi,

As far as your second post, we went over this many times before. Christ and those resurrected in good stead we receive a new body that will shine like the stars in heaven.

Dan 12:3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

Matt 13:43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

Mark 12:25 For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven.

Me: We will have bodies like the angels in heaven. They are referred to as stars in the bible. Who knows, they may be the stars in heaven.

Rev 22:16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the BRIGHT AND MORNING STAR.

Me: The Messiah body will shine like the stars also.  His body will be the brightest.

Anthony, show us where it says flesh and blood cannot enter the kingdom of God?  That scripture says flesh and blood can not “inherit” it. As i recall, Our flesh is simply a house we live in. It is made and can not of it self do any thing on it’s own. Not even live by it self, we are sustaibd by the spirit from God, if he were to retract it all bodies would die,  That does not say flesh can’t go into the kingdom of God,  that just another addition you people make to scriptures.

Go read the valley of dried bones and come back and tell us what is raised up by God, back to life. Or is that also some more scriptures you people have taken out of your scriptures.  Jesus after he was resructed from the grave with his body that scripture says never saw coruption , and  said he was not a spirit, saying “a spirit has not flesh and bone , as I have”.  He also went up into heaven with that body and the angel standing there said he would return as he went.  Your false teaching of him returning as a spirit, like the wind is or what ever, is a total lie. Spirits can not be seen but Jesus certanily can and  will be seen by all,  Why? , because he certainly will have a real body, glorified as it is.

Jesus never sinned so he never saw corruption of his body, but retained it, as scripture says.

You or none of your followers ever have produced a single scripture that say Jesus was changed into a spirit, without a body. You add, and subtract, from scriptures as you see fit,  preaching your false trinitarian doctrines about Jesus and not only that but what he says also.

Peace and love to you and yours. …….gene

Let Me tell you one last time Gene Jesus was raised with a physical body and was changed into a Spiritual body before He got to heaven like we will be,we’re changed in a  the twinkle of a eye.

Do you have another lie for that, I bet you do.

Anthony …..”O” really,  When Jesus comes and sets up the kingdom of God on this earth as scriptures say he will, will  there be flesh and blood people in it? ,  I think so.  No “Flesh” can “inherit”,  the kingdom of God,  why?, Because the kingdom of God is spiritual precieved, or haven’t you read,  “for the kingdom of God comes without observation, it is “in you”.  So Jesus seemed to think it can be “in” you,  a flesh and blood person, Right?

As I have said you people just twist up scriptures by changing words and what they are saying.  Constantly corrupting plain and simple scriptures to meet you false teachings, that you can’t even put together even simple thing. That is exactly why you can’t understand even simple thing me or Jodi tell you,  and by the way Jodi is not my pastor, I have but one pastor and sheppard , that is  Jesus our lord who himself  is instructed by the Father, and tells us the “Fathers” words . I also have “one” God, the same God Jesus has, the same Father, also,   According to Jesus.

You on the other hand have your Satanic,  trinitarian teachings, of a fallen church and all it’s false teachings  which has pastored  you over the years.  I’ll stay with who I and Jodi both, have chosen. You can  stay with the “many” and see where that ends up at. Or you can repent. If God grant’s it.  I HOPE HE WILL.

Peace and love to you and yours. ……..gene
