For the hundredth time, i have never said, we do not have Freedom to Exercise our WILLS, but that never makes the Will “ITSELF” Free. All WILLS are driven by something or they simply would not be called a WILL, simple common sense should tell us that. You or no one else can produce a single scripture that specifically says, our will “THEMSELVES” are FREE, Just as Marty admitted, So human reason thinks that it is, but no scriptures agree with it.In Fact scriptures shows differently , we are all driven by what “INFLUENCES US the MOST. John said ALL that is in the World the Lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the Pride of Life are FROM the WORLD If our WILL were truly FREE then the world could not effect us at all. But no we are held captive by those influences and our Wills are to, unles you have been set Free from them by the power of God, through Jesus Christ our lord.
We have been set free from that captivity and led in another, by the Spirit of the LIVING GOD, who then does this. He (GOD) WORKS “IN” US “BOTH” TO “WILL” and do of “HIS” good pleasure.
So our new driving Force is the WILL of GOD brought about by HIS SPIRIT that ABIDES “IN” US> and as scripture says, He that is “IN” you is greater then he that is in the world.
