So the fact that Cornelius heard Jesus’ words although he was not baptised, it is only through the fact that God established PURPOSELY IN THE VERY BEGINNING the process of “THE WORD” and GOD THROUGH THE HOLY SPIRIT within, HIDDEN IN “THE WORD” AND “THE WORD” IS DIRECTLY WITHIN AND ATTACHED TO ALL CREATURES, GOD GENERALLY HEARD CORNELIUS AND SENT HIS ANGEL TO HIM!
A PERFECT EXAMPLE OF JESUS’SPIRIT “THE WORD”AS THE MEDIATOR SPIRIT, BETWEEN GOD AND HIS CREATURES!
And not yet baptised OK?
John10:28 And I give them life everlasting; and they shall not perish for ever, and no man shall pluck them out of my hand.
SO ONCE A PERSON, NO MATTER WHO, LIVE IN CHRIST IN THE TRUTH, HE IS GOD’S PROPERTY! NO ONE SHALL PLUCK HIM OUT OF JESUS’ HAND,

The Spirit of the Son is the Spirit of Christ, the Word.
God is not a servant to Himself.
The Spirit of the Son is the servant Spirit.

So do you think Jesus was with God in the beginning
and was God?Well I believe that he EXISTED in the FORM of God, and emptied himself and came here. He eventually became full again I suppose upon his baptism and resurrection into the glory he had with the Father before the Cosmos.
So the answer is yes or no depending on what you mean exactly. No he was not called Jesus or Yeshua. But he existed with God before the Cosmos and he is back at the right hand of the majesty on high.
If you do not believe his origins are from ancient times, then there quite a number of scriptures that need to be dealt with or even disposed of.
Did God create a man on the spot to become the son of God, the highest in all creation or did he send his son into the world as a baby who was empty of all he possessed before, but took it back up when he was raised into glory.

As I have said before he was like us in every way except sin.
We, and he, are made in the image of God-Soul and spirit-and we are in the flesh of earth.
Our design, and his, is as vessels for the Spirit of God. 2 tim 2 , 2 cor5.
Are you just flesh?
Do you recognise when the Spirit of God worked and spoke through him, and through the apostles and prophets.
Do you recognise the few times when the man Jesus spoke for himself?
Do men deserve glory for the work God does?
Probably not though God has decided to give glory to all His faithful servants.
