So just what are you trying to say here Kerwin? that the logos/Jimi Hendrix though human and dead is still a god? so even the dead Jesus is still a god?

My starting point was to point out that both human and objects for various reasons.
I am also pointing why the word that comes out of God’s mouth though not a being can be a god.
I do not necessary agree with Gene.
Kerwin, Oh maybe we are actually getting somewhere since the logos might actually be a god according to you even as the scripture says too.

Aren’t you the one that used to be a modalist? that is that Jesus was always God? I seem to recall that quite clearly. Of course the “spirit” might cloud your memory.

I provided an example of one use of god in the English language.
Yes, the word is a god because it is of the one true God.
To all…..lets get back to the thread, first can some of you see that 2Ths2, is “NOT” dealing with the world as a whole , but the church itself and that “the man of sin”, mentioned there would be the product of the church and come from the “midest” of the church. It also is the working of Satan himself that produces that false “IMAGE” OF JESUS being worshiped as a GOD.
We need to ask oureslves who is “NOW” SEATED IN THE TEMPLE OF GOD AND IS BEING WORSHIPED AS A GOD, IN THE “CHURCH” ITSELF?
There is no one that fits that but Jesus himself. It is that “LIE” or false “IMAGE” of him, that came from the “MIDEST” of the churches, and in 325 AD “HE” was proclaimed as a GOD, no one else but Jesus, fits that prophesy of PAUL’S.

1jn 5.5-12 may help clarify things
Jesus Christ CAME by water and blood.
So CAME by the Jordan and his death.
And the Spirit is the third witness.
We need to follow him into his death and resurrection by rebirth of water and the Spirit . Jn 3, Romans 6

to my understanding in scriptures,there are only two roads the devil one and God’s one ;there never was any other road in the world sins creation and corruption was made,so the true questions would be ;1) how to stay in God’s road ? and 2) how to get back on God’s road if we have left it ? and 3) where we find that road ?
for the devil road ?who wants to know ?
