Nick……you really need to take you own advice brother. No I am not greater the Jesus or (true) Scripture thats understood. It's enough that I am JUST LIKE MY TEACHER. Didn't Jesus say “the student is not above His teacher it's enough the He is (JUST LIKE HIM), and again ” until we (ALL) come unto the (FULL MEASURE) of CHRIST”. You holding Jesus up doesn't put you with Him Nick. “Not every that comes unto me saying Lord Lord, shall enter the Kingdom but He who does the will of MY FATHER.” You have to stop using Jesus as a means to elevate yourself over others by saying thing like we think we are better than Jesus”. You only bring Judgment on your own head by saying that. IMO

Nick………have you put away (FAITH) and a (GOOD CONSCIENCE) and substituted it for a FEAR RELIGION . ARE you drive by FEAR or BY FAITH, you can't have BOTH. because fear has torment and nothing is being (PERFECTED) by FEAR. YOU may have gotten the word FEAR mixed up with reverence i don't know. But we have never said not to reverence GOD, because if you (TRULY) love Him you will reverence HIM in Love even as Jesus did.

Nick and 942767………..remember it also says in Titus………you have (NOT) received the Spirit of (FEAR) but of Power and of a Sound Mind. The opposite is also true if you have a spirit of fear you don't have a sound mind and no power to overcome either , So i guess you will have to us FEAR to control the carnal thinking as GOD did those Carnal Israelites. EX 19:20. If your not being perfect in Love them you will have to be controlled through FEAR.

(FREE) Will is a will that has (NO) influencing evolved at ALL. There is no such thing as that even GOD'S WILL is Influenced by His thinking.
There is not such thing as free will if there is show us where in scripture it says (FREE WILL) there is no such scripture so why teach contrary then. Doesn't it say “FOR WHO HAS RESISTED HIS WILL” , God does (ALL) things after the council of His WILL, not MANS captured will.GB,

It seems that humans are caught in the middle – we are not robots – we do have our will (Jesus had a will – but he was obedient to the will of GOD unto death) however we do not have free will, we are influenced by good and evil and an overcomer is one who chooses the good and not the bad.
Part of being human is the experience of the “tree” of the knowledge of good and evil. Adam and Eve are not alone in eating of this tree. We all eat it.

But that still leaves a lot of wriggle room choices for men.

I have found for some there is a lot of wiggle room and for others there is a lot less wiggle room – when you take into account
2 Cor 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not , lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.and Luke 12:47 And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not [himself], neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many [stripes].
Luk 12:48But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few [stripes]. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.
Salvation is not a cut and dried even playing field it is about experiencing good and evil, overcoming and being accountable for what you do.
Some are not drawn to believe, their minds are blinded – they do not see. If you are blind and someone shows you a card with red on it – because you are blind you will not see it, no amount of showing you that card will open your eyes.
However when you do have eyes to see and turn away that is when you will be held accountable.

Nick…….well you finely admit there is no so-called “FREE WILL”. So quite teaching as if there are “free Will” there is only influenced WILL”S. NOT (FREE). BY GRACE (God's influencing on the heart) are we saved, not of our works, it is a gift of God, least any should Boast.peace to you and yours…………….gene

The timing to God is important and he has his ways and time which is not our time and ways.
He hasn't created humans and adversity and trials all to be a rescue mission from Satan who is stealing most of his creation and God is left with the few elect/chosen ones who will rule themselves.
God had a plan right from the beginning which was not hi-jacked and derailled by Satan.
