t8He is one yes, but he is triune!
Do you not believe the Father,Son and Spirit are “One Spirit”?

I guess it's complete lack of existence in the Bible is a big one.

They are like elbows we all have one!

Quote Let's say you like to smoke cigarettes, drink to the point of drunkeness, like to …. etc, etc. Sure, come, be baptized. Represent Christ and Jehovah and bear their names….no. It would be reproach on his name. I completely understand what you say there David. And I totally agree with that.
I think I was more talking about other rules and regulations that apply to each different church or congregation. Or supporting the church. Yet I dont remember Paul or Jesus saying to support a church as part of baptism. Or is that what he meant when he said “Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and all the rest will come unto you”?
Is – The biggest flaw I see is that I dont believe God came down to be Jesus. He sent his Holy Spirit upon Jesus yes. When you take the Trinity doctrine away all is accepted. Bring it in and a big argument arises. Think about it.
I hope this answers both your questions

NHHave you considered why the arguments begin when you bring in the Trinitarian view?
Could it be because of this anti-trinitarian site.
In trinitarian churches they dont have this argument.

Listen, drop a crate of Bible's in the deepest darkest jungle in the language of a tribe that's never heard of the Bible and come back 10 years later. If one of them believes in a trinity, I will eat those Bibles and my words.

Well yes…..I didn't get schooled up on the trinity doctrine and then went about ferverently looking for evidence of it in the Bible, if that's what you mean. What are it's key failings, as you see it?
The KEY failings I would have to say … is the fact it creates heated arguments and debates.Like I said…. if you take the Trinity doctrine away, ALL is accepted. There is likely to be no contradictions at all. Right?

pConsider the majority of Born again spirit filled believers in the world are trinitarian and they dont bicker over the trinity.
Also I have been away for awhile and checked in on this site and there is always bickering here, even without the discussion of the trinity!
Hugs and blessings!

Let's test it. I just happen to have a crate of Bibles. But we can use your Bibles if you like. Now, we just need a helicoptor.considering it took a few hundred years for the 'Christians' to “figure out/create” the trinty, i find it unlikely that this tribe will do it in 10 years.
Quote His trichotomous
One thing is for certain. They won't be using big philisophical Greek sounding words. And without those words, how can you have a trinity?
DavidAlso I dont think they would know anything about Watch Tower if I was to check back in ten years especially since the JWs have only been around about 140 yrs and has changed their beliefs and doctrine many times.
Since their Bible hardly reflects the translations of the others they would probably use it for kindlin!

Hi Is 1.18,
Do you not know your Dad?
Studying theology to know God is about and useless as studying parentology to know your natural parents.March 18, 2007 at 4:05 am#45264Is 1:18ParticipantThanks for the observations…..

March 18, 2007 at 4:09 am#45266NickHassanParticipantHi Is 1.18,
If you have not yet met your Dad then it should be your mission to do so and others pointing Him out will not be of much use. Go up the mountain. Go through the veil. He loves you and wants to bless you.March 18, 2007 at 4:16 am#45268Is 1:18ParticipantJohn 14:6-7

March 18, 2007 at 4:28 am#45271NickHassanParticipantHi Is 1.18,
If you found you were adopted and wanted to know your parents would you just want to know about them and how qualified and intelligent and caring they were or would you not prefer to contact them and meet with them? Theology can never introduce you to God but prayer can and no renewed man should die without knowing the love of our Father.March 18, 2007 at 4:30 am#45272Is 1:18ParticipantJohn 14:6-7

I don't think you read Yeshua's words very carefully. What do you think He meant when He said:
“I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me. “If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; from now on you know Him, and have seen Him.”
