The Sixth Kingdom is Rome according to Revelation 17:9-11.

But in Daniel’s prophecy Rome is the fourth metal.

This is where you have come undone.

The only conclusion is John speaks of two kingdoms before Babylon.

Placing Rome correctly in both prophecies is an important key. Any theory that cannot make Rome fit in both prophecies has to be wrong.

Revelation 13: 2
She has the mouth of the lion (Babylon), the body of the leopard (Greece)
the feet of the bear (Medo-Persian)
the dragon (imperial Rome) gave him
his power, and his throne, and great authority.

There is nothing from Egypt and Assyria in this beast of Revelation 13.
To say that is to make the text say what it does not say.

Daniel and Revelation are two books inspired by God and are in full harmony, the prophetic frame is the same.
Revelation extends, widens, completes Daniel.

T8……yes,  Rome was the Fourth Babyloian type kingdom that ruled the earth, and we are now living in the Fifth Babyloian type kingdoms that are ruling this earth,  the feet of iron and clay, the next to come will be the Sixth non Babyloian type of  Kingdom to rule this earth , the kingdom of Jesus Christ and the Saint’s,  for a thousand years and at the end of the thousand year rule , shall arise the Seventh kingdom (a revived Babyloian type kingdom) and also Satan who is released from the bottomless pit shall goin it as the eighth kingdom,  these 7&8 kingdoms will only exist for a short time, then at the end of them shall God the Father destroy them and Satan shall go into perdition.  JUST  AS IT SAYS.

To understand Rev 17  properly we must see the place in time the prophesy is speaking from. That’s the “key” T8, all predictions that are outside that time line are false.

So this is how you deny what is clearly written. The beast has seven heads. Each head is a king. To be no longer simply means there will be a break in the kings where the beast will die, but will rise again, a sort of resurrection if you will.

The ‘one is’ was Rome. It was the current King / Kingdom.

Thanks for putting forth your theory, but it fails at this most basic of tests.

No amount of text justifying your theory will convince me because it doesn’t cater for Rome being the current empire when the prophecy was given.

But the whole beast comes back to life when the head is healed because the head is only part of the Beast, so the beast is back once more.

Regardless, Rome is still the empire that reigned at the time the prophecy was given. Not budging on that point because it is clearly written.  So cannot take any theory seriously if Rome is not the sixth Empire of the beast that rose out of the Great Sea because five had already fallen.

T8, you still missing what Rev 17 is saying by “here is the mind that has wisdom”   you are not Seening that John was speaking from the stand point of the Sixth kingdom of Jesus Christ and the Saint’s.  That’s why it takes wisdom,   it is natural to think the John was speaking from the time he was given the prophesy,  that requires no wisdom to see it that way, and that what most all the false teachers teach. That is why there are so many false prophets out there.

REV 1:10….I was in the Spirt in the Lords day”  if you look up the word “en” ,  it means (a primary preposition denoting (fixed) positon (in place, time, or state), You must understand John was transported to the “day of the lord”, the Sixth kingdom period,  and was speaking from that point of time.  IF YOU CAN’T SEE THAT THEN YOU OR NO ONE ELSE CAN UNDERSTAND the truth of Rev 17.  Or Daniel 2

Both theories are non-starters. Transporting John to a different time is just moving the goal posts to suit your own understanding. If we had that kind of freedom, we could make scripture say anything anywhere.
