Nick,
The same thing Philo of Alexander taught and the same thing Isaiah 55:11 teaches us for the Word will not return to be with God void.
December 29, 2015 at 11:54 am#806679NickHassanParticipantHi KW
Philo taught of intermediary beings.
He taught[wiki]
“The Logos was the highest of these intermediary beings, and was called by Philo “the first-born of God.”[
The Word is not a being.
The Word is spirit
December 29, 2015 at 12:12 pm#806682AndrewADParticipantDear Gene,
The spirit of our Father is in the midst of all even on Planet X. Ye need not to fear for the Spirit you seek is within thee, even of the Father and his Christ.
All blessings to thee and thine also Gene!

December 29, 2015 at 12:31 pm#806685AndrewADParticipantKerwin it is the saints i speak of that you boldly and sinfully deny;that is Peter,Paul and John.If you in your religiosity choose not to call them saints then the shame is yours and yours alone. But the greater shame is that you deny their teachings by your own religious bias.
But don’t be afraid for Christ knoweth thy faith and works for him and ye shall be saved in spite of thy minor blasphemies.
December 29, 2015 at 12:50 pm#806687Ed JParticipantTo all….. God the father was “IN” the man Jesus, through the anointing he recieved at the Jordan river,
(1)then he became know as the anointed one of God OR, the MESSIAH OF GOD.
(2)But that anointing was never, the man Jesus, nor was the CHRISTOS the man Jesus either.Hi Gene,
I disagree with you because Scripture says the opposite.
(1)Luke 2:11 says that Jesus was born “Christ”, and
(2)Micah 5:2 says Christ came via “Bethlehem”,
not via Jordan (as you are proclaiming). When people say the opposite of what scripture says,
how do they ever hope to convince others it is true?
Look them up if you don’t believe me…………..Ed JDecember 29, 2015 at 1:06 pm#806690AndrewADParticipantSince Jesus was born the Christ the Jordan was only a form of confirmation as St Matthew teaches since he said to the baptist” Suffer it to be so now for thus it fulfilleth all righteousness”.
December 29, 2015 at 1:35 pm#806692GeneBalthropParticipantEDj…..NO scripture that i know of say he was born a christ. We need to define what a CHRIST IS FIRST RIGHT? The word CHRIST IS JUST SHORT FOR ANOINTED ONE, OR MESSIAH SAME THING. But what many fail to see is that that word can only apply to a human being recieving the anointing. It can’t apply to anything else, orther the a human. If JESUS WAS BORN A MESSIAH THE THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN NOT NEED TO LATER BE BAPTIZED AND THE ANOINTING SPIRIT decend down and remain upon him as depicted in his baptizm right.
No human being has ever been born a MESSIAH OR ANOINTED PERSON. EVEN THOUGH HE MAY BE DESTINED TO BE. IMO
THE SCRIPTURE YOU RELATE TO IS NOT SAYING THAT JESUS WAS ALREADY THE MESSIAH, BUT THAT WAS HIS DESTINY TO BECOME THEIR CHRIST OR MESSIAH. HE WAS THE PERSON THEY WERE LOOKING FOR, ANOTHER THING THE WORDS THIS DAY, CAN BE TAKEN AS IN THAT TIME IN HISTORY THE FUTURE MESSIAH was born. Remember when the voice of God said “this day i have begotten you” , that could also be taken as the time of his baptizm when he was SPIRITUALLY begotten of God or it could be just that despensation of time also. Remember a day with GOD IS AS A THOUSAND YEAR.
I will agree with you when he was born he was destined to be the Messiah though.
peace and love to you and yours………gene
December 29, 2015 at 1:45 pm#806695AndrewADParticipantDear Gene,
Then why was he supposedly born of a virgin then? Do you know others born of virgins? what was the point of that?
December 30, 2015 at 10:25 am#806728NickHassanParticipantHi ED,
If Jesus was born anointed you must be able to find scriptural evidence of this anointing event surely and evidence of spiritual powers in his early life.
December 30, 2015 at 3:04 pm#806735Ed JParticipantEDj…..NO scripture that i know of say he was born a christ.
Hi Gene,
I showed you them: one is the testimony of an Angel (Luke 2:11)
and the other is the testimony of a Prophet (Micah 5:2)December 30, 2015 at 3:49 pm#806738NickHassanParticipantHi Ed,
Misunderstood prophecies.
December 30, 2015 at 4:11 pm#806739Ed JParticipant“Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee;
and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee,
and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.” (Jer 1:5)Hi Nick,
Is this a misunderstood prophecy as well?
December 30, 2015 at 4:11 pm#806740NickHassanParticipantHi Ed,
Matt 1. 23
‘behold the Virgin shall be with child and shall bear a so,and they shall call his name Immanuel’which means ‘God with us’
And Joseph awoke from his sleep and did as the angel of the Lord commanded him, and took Mary as his wife but kept her a virgin until she gave birth to a son: and he called his name Jesus.
Josph was not confused by the prophetic word but you are.
December 30, 2015 at 4:20 pm#806742NickHassanParticipantHi t8,
Did Jesus preexist in heaven?
Please clarify your views on this as you gave us mixed messages.
December 30, 2015 at 4:24 pm#806743NickHassanParticipantHi Ed,
Understood but misapplied.
This scripture concerns the prophet Jeremiah.
Why would you wrongly apply it to Jesus Christ ?
December 30, 2015 at 4:34 pm#806745NickHassanParticipantHi Ed,
The call to Jeremiah was when the word came to him as a youth, not a foetus.
It was then his mouth was touched and God put His words in his mouth.
December 30, 2015 at 5:36 pm#806746NickHassanParticipantHi Ed,
Jeremiah was of the age of understanding as were Isaiah and Ezekiel when they began their ministries.
Why would you think Jesus was any different?
God wants informed consent.
December 30, 2015 at 6:04 pm#806747NickHassanParticipantHi Ed,
God has plans.
They never fail.
He knows the future.
He choose those to fulfil them way ahead of time.

Hi Nick,
I’m not applying Jeremiah 1:5 to Christ,
I’m instead applying Micah 5:2 to Christ. And why will you not address that verse?
December 31, 2015 at 6:24 am#806787NickHassanParticipantHi ED,
Micah identifies the place where the anointed man, Jesus Christ, was to be born who will rule Israel.
Then it speaks of the relevant anointing on him which is of old, of ancient times.
The flesh contributes nothing. The Word was with God and was God.
Nothing here about a myth of an anointed infant
