I appreciate it brother Gene. But the problem here is very much complicated for those people who are fond of preexistence of Jesus. Our NT some times favors their logic too especially John's Gospel. But some one has to understand Jesus' origins in the light of Monotheism of God which does not permit any other god being besides God Himself.

not only John but Paul as well ,and you seem not to understand a thing from scriptures ,

the old testament so called of the hebrew scriptures say this per ups you have an explanation for it ;

DT 10:17 “ For the LORD your God is the God of gods and the Lord of lords, the great, the mighty, and the awesome God who does not show partiality nor take a bribe.
PS 136:2 Give thanks to the God of gods,

and yes there is not other God than Jehovah the creator ,NO other god can claim that and do what he did and will do,

for this it is said that there is no god LIKE HIM ,BUT THAT DOES NOT MEAN THAT THERE ARE NO OTHER GODS ,FOR HE IS THE GOD OF GODS

The Womans seed is speaking of Jesus.

Rightly said it brother Nick rest of the references to the son only in prophetic utterances and they always point towards future events..

Gadam123……… Right Adam, Jesus a pure human being received the Father who is our God into him at the Jordan River , the WORD was God and he himself abode with Jesus and spoke directly through Jesus to us, but that never made Jesus himself the word or the word he spoke to us. Jesus plainly said the Father in me He does the works. People who have bee indoctrinated into the Trinity and Preexistence false teachings just do not understand that.IMO
