Quote Anyway, I don't know why Paul didn't mention Mary. Mike,
WE SHOULD discuss what is the truth regarding JESUS RESURRECTION FROM SCRATCH!NO?
So all what is in relation to Jesus' RESURRECTION must be analyzed! I am sure you AGREE! WE ALL WANT THE TRUTH!
This is Paul statement:
And that he was seen by Cephas; ONLY PAUL MENTIONED THIS, HE SHOULD HAVE SAID FIRST BUT HE DIDN'T, BECAUSE HE KNEW THAT MARY WAS FIRST TO SEE HIM!
and after that by the eleven. THIS ONE WE KNOW ABOUT! notice as well he empasized that it was AFTER, SO HE WAS STATING THEM IN THEIR PROPER ORDER!
6Then he was seen by more than five hundred brethren at once: ONLY PAUL MENTIONED THIS, notice again He said THEN!,
of whom many remain until this present, and some are fallen asleep.
7After that, he was seen by James, ONLY PAUL MENTIONED THIS. AGAIN: “AFTER THAT”.
then by all the apostles. THIS ONE WE KNOW ABOUT. AGAIN the word: “THEN”
WHEN WE REFLECT ON THE ABOVE; THREE OF THE EVENTS ONLY PAUL MENTIONED THEM. SO HE WAS WELL INFORMED ABOUT IT!
FOR PAUL TO LEAVE OUT THE ONE WHICH WAS SO SIGNIFICANT, CONSIDERRING THE FACT THAT WOMEN WERE NOT THAT RESPECTED, ESPECIALLY ONE WHO WAS SO SINFULL, AND SHE ALSO WAS THE ONE THAT TOLD THEM SUCH AN AMAZING THING FIRST!IT PROVES THAT IT WAS DELIBERATE!
So I am convinced that Paul WHO IS THE MOST PERSON WHO KNEW MOST REGARDING GOD'S HIDDEN THINGS
DIDN'T INCLUDE MARY'S ENCOUNTER WITH JESUS FOR A PARTICULAR REASON, SINCE HE WAS SPECIFICALLY STATING IN THEIR RESPECTIVE ORDER THOSE WHO HAD SEEN HIM!
So this point for the time being I feel to keep aside, but I made it clear because it would be of importance to reflect upon at a later stage!
Now! another POINT!
Why Jesus prevented Mary from touching HIM?
I WOULD LIKE YOU TO TRY DISCOVER FROM SCRIPTURE PARTICULAR STATEMENTS WHICH GIVES SOME HINTS IN THIS REGARD!

Hi Charles,We are talking about the ascension, NOT THE RESURRECTION!
“Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up
into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven,
shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.” (Acts 1:11)Jesus ascended into Heaven in spirit form, and Jesus returned on “Pentecost” in spirit form – very simple actually!
“Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will
love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.” (John 14:23)“So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him
shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.” (Heb 9:28)Only those who look for him in spirit form will find him, Kerwin!

Ed J,I do not assume the last Adam in that passage is Jesus Christ.
The life giving spirit is the Holy Spirit.
Jesus sends the Holy Spirit which is both God's Spirit and Jesus' Spirit. The outward Adam is flesh and the inward Adam is spirit. The inward Adam gives life to the outward Adam.
Jesus lives in those that believe via his Spirit, which is God's Spirit.

http://www.holycitybiblecode.orgMay 15, 2013 at 10:57 pm#344516mikeboll64BlockedI understand it like you do, Eddy.
In Luke 24:39, Jesus made it abundantly clear to his disciples that he was NOT a spirit – like they originally thought when they saw him. Instead, he was still comprised of flesh at that time.
But the scripture you posted (1 Cor 15:45), along with John 3:3-6, 1 Cor 15:50, and many others, show that Jesus had to have been “transformed” from flesh being to spirit being……… or he could not now be in heaven. (Ref. Phil 3:21, 2 Cor 5:1-4)
It only seems logical that this transformation took place upon his ascension to heaven. For Kerwin is right when he says Jesus ascended as a flesh being…………. yet we know from scripture that he couldn't have entered the kingdom of God that way. Hence, it seems sensible that he was changed from flesh to spirit right after disappearing in the clouds.
Like you pointed out last week: “even though we once knew Christ according to the flesh, we no longer know him in that way.” (2 Cor 5:16)

WHY NOT ANALYZE ALL THAT PARAGRAPH IN ORDER TO ESTABLISH WHAT JESUS WAS REERRING TO
THE FACT THAT THROUGH THE SAME STATEMENT, JESUS DECLARED THAT HIS FATHER WAS NOT KNOWN AS THE ONLY TRUE GOD IT IS ALREADY AN EVIDENCE THAT, ALTHOUGH HE WAS THE ONLY TRUE GOD, HE WAS JUST AS WELL AS HE WAS NOT AND ONLY, ACCORDING TO JESUS, THROUGH THE ETERNAL LIFE JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF, THAT THE FATHER, NOT ON HIS OWN, EVENTUALLY THEY MAY KNOW HIM AS SUCH!

First, this verse is NOT ambiguous. Look up the definition of ambiguous!! There is only one true GOD in this verse and Jesus is clearly NOT Him!!!Second, please read the paragraph yourself!!! Jesus NEVER says, as you say, “His Father was not known as the only true God.” What it says is that “O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.”
Do you see the difference?? You see, you have to add words and change the verse in order to make YOUR point. I, however, do not!!! I see that the world does not know GOD, but the TRUE believers (those that God has given to Jesus) KNOW that GOD sent Jesus. NOTICE: it does NOT say the true believers know that I am God. No, Jesus is saying that the true believers know that GOD sent Jesus!! Do you see the difference???
Charles, do you honestly BELIEVE these things that you type? Tell me, is Jesus and the Father the same person to you? Are Jesus and the Father both God? Are you saying God came in the form of Jesus, thus separating Himself, but in the end, He will combine Himself back into one person??
Please answer so that I can better understand your view!!
Here Charles…I will repost for you.I will bold my words here for you….

May 16, 2013 at 1:59 am#344539mikeboll64BlockedSo the first Adam and the last Adam are the same exact Adam who was married to Eve?
What then, does this mean:
1 Corinthians 15
47 The first man was of the dust of the earth; the second man is of heaven.“Adam” is really TWO Adams – one of the earth and the other of heaven?
48 As was the earthly man, so are those who are of the earth; and as is the heavenly man, so also are those who are of heaven.
So “Adam” was part human and part angel?
49 And just as we have borne the image of the earthly man, so shall we bear the image of the heavenly man.
So we now bear Adam's “earthly image”, but not his “heavenly image”? But some day we WILL bear his “heavenly image”?
Kerwin, you are simply too much sometimes. Eddy can take it from here. I have neither time nor patience for this nonsense.

Mike,Ecclesiastes 12:7
King James Version (KJV)7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.
Do you believe that the body of Adam is of the dust and the spirit of Adam come from the one that is above?
I am of the opinion you do believe those words but do not like them applied to 1 Corinthians 15:47-49.

Ed J,Paul used two man(adam) termology to speak of the two parts of a human being. Here is another place where he did so.
2 Corinthians 4:16
King James Version (KJV)16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
Looking at this it is easy to see the outward man is the man God created from the earth while the inward man is the one that came from God and is daily renewed by the Spirit.
The outward man that came to be first crumples to dust and the inward man returns to God.
The inward man gives life to the outward man(adam).
The outward adam was created first and then God placed the inward adam in him last.
Jesus' human spirit side gives soulish life to his physical side.
