Trust not in your own understanding.
Or your own books.
March 17, 2016 at 8:36 pm#810607Ed JParticipantEd,
I am going to assume you are blind to the unwritten inferences.
Hi Kerwin,
Do you mean that I’m blind to not be able to see things that aren’t really there?

Your books must be due for revision
unless you have learned nothing since you wrote them.
March 18, 2016 at 4:46 pm#810684ProclaimerParticipantDo not cast pearls before swine. What this means is that if you have something precious from God or a good understanding of something about God, then there will always be those who will rush to trample what treasure you have in your heart and mind. Do not bring this treasure out for them if you can help it.
Yes if we are asked to give an account for what we teach (which hopefully contains pearls), we should support that because we taught for encouragement not condemnation. But if you are conversing with swine, be careful about introducing new things that they will unnecessarily trample on, unless you need to support your teaching that the hearers have asked for. Do not open these up to a bigger sin if it can be helped. Be wise for their sake.

Where you treasure is there your heart is also.
Sadly men often treasure what tradition has given them.

My heart is with the one who was born the messiah and the Lord. He is the son of God and is back in the glory he had with the Father before the cosmos.
Wise men acknowledged him.
And one day all things will be under the feet of the Lord and then he will hand everything to God so that he may be in all.
His name is the Word of God.

It is great that you believe the prophetic word.
So when was Jesus anointed for his role?

Hi Nick,
At 30. Do you also believe the prophetic word? If so…
Who does Scripture say will baptize with God’s Holy Spirit?1. Christ
2. All born again believers
3. I don’t knowPlease answer 1 or 2
(remember “I don’t know” is also an acceptable answer)_______________

Ed JMarch 22, 2016 at 10:30 am#810808NickHassanParticipantHi Ed,
John testified about the Christ
“he himself will baptise you in the Holy Spirit and fire”
Then the Spirit spoke through Jesus Christ in Jn.7
If any man is thirsty let him come to me and drink
He who believes in me, as the scripture said
‘from his innermost being shall flow rivers of living water’

Hi Nick,
Who is “he himself”
1. Christ
2. God
3. “I don’t know”March 22, 2016 at 12:34 pm#810826kerwinParticipantEd,
I mean you speak without understanding all of what your words mean in that you see only those aspects that you believe are relevant.
In this case it means that the inferences of yours were not intended even though they exist in the language. I have done it myself.
March 22, 2016 at 12:37 pm#810828NickHassanParticipantHi Ed,
Since the Spirit is of God and of Christ in Jesus Christ
the only choice you allow in ticking your facile boxes is
I don’t know
March 22, 2016 at 12:58 pm#810829kerwinParticipantEd,
I see where you are coming from but the wording of Scripture, even the AKJV is not friendly to your interpretation.
In English grammar the colon is placed after a complete sentence, which in Psalms 12:6 is “The words of the Lord are pure words”. The word afterwards serve to clarify or expand what came before the colon. Thus the words. “as silver tried in a furnace of earth” is expanding or clarifying the claim that God’ words are pure. Commas, unlike colon, can be confusing because they have multiple uses and they are not used when one would think they are. In this case we both agree it is a descriptive comment but we disagree on what it is describing. It seem clear to me that it is describing the element on the right of the colon because 1) It is nearer and 2) the element before is a complete sentence in itself and any descriptive clause would have went before the colon.
Therefore the AKJV does not support your interpretation of Psalms 12:6.

I do not want to come off as having knowledge that is not mine. I consulted grammar girl and the idiot’s guide to correct comma grammar.
March 22, 2016 at 4:47 pm#810857NickHassanParticipantHi Ed,
Jesus as the Body of Christ is still able to baptise men in the Spirit.
The apostles did and nothing has changed
Acts 2.39
March 30, 2016 at 4:36 pm#811089Ed JParticipantHi Ed,
The Spirit of the Son is also known as the Spirit of Christ and the Word.
Hi Nick,
Since you believe that “the spirit of Christ” is (according to you) the “Holy Spirit”…
Are you suggesting that the “Holy Spirit” (as mentioned in Scripture) is the Spirit of the Son? y/n
(remember “I don’t know” is also an acceptable answer)You see that it is my questions that YOU don’t want to answer – I always answer other peoples questions.
Always being conditional on whether my questions are being answered or not. (see ref. Matt 21:24-25)_________________

You instead just want to state your opinions over and over again.
I will not argue over misconceptions, you can do that with the other members here._______________

I always answer clearly defined questions
Always being conditional on if my questions are being answered or not. (see ref. Matt 21:24-25)
Hi Ed,
(1)So you lord it over others and set yourself up as arbitrator of the questions?
(2)By whose authority?Hi Nick,
If you want answers, try to ask clear and concise questions.
Question #2 is based on statement #1 which is not well defined._______________
