t8,
I do not teach that the Logos with God was not an actual being.
I did not think you believe that Logos in not a person.
I wrote this:
I am well aware that the definite article is used before logos but I have no idea why you believe that proves it is a name and not the actual word that is being spoken about.
When I used the word “name” I was implying it was a name/title of an actual being.

yes
no. Jesus Christ came in the flesh
yes. Jesus Christ is NOW called the Word of God.
December 21, 2015 at 8:25 am#806340NickHassanParticipantHi,
The Word is a spirit.
Not a person or a being but a spirit.
Jesus Christ is the Word made flesh
December 21, 2015 at 9:21 am#806341Ed JParticipantHi,
The Word is a spirit.
Hi Nick,
“The Word” is not ‘a spirit’
“The Word” *IS* “The Spirit”!Ho Logos = Spirit
December 21, 2015 at 9:32 am#806344NickHassanParticipantHi Ed,
The Holy Spirit.

December 21, 2015 at 9:34 am#806345Ed JParticipantHi Nick,
Is God’s word “Spirit” – “Yes” or “no”?
(please no speech)
December 21, 2015 at 9:35 am#806346NickHassanParticipantHi Ed,
The word speaking through Jesus tell us of being sent from heaven by the Father.
December 21, 2015 at 9:37 am#806347NickHassanParticipantHi Ed,
God is spirit.
The word was with God and was God.
The word is spirit.
December 21, 2015 at 9:46 am#806350Ed JParticipantIs God’s word “Spirit”?
“Yes” or “no”?
(please refrain from dodging)
December 21, 2015 at 9:51 am#806353NickHassanParticipantHi Ed,
The word is Spirit of Spirit.
Made flesh in Jesus Christ to serve the Father.
December 21, 2015 at 10:08 am#806357Ed JParticipantIs that a “Yes”?
December 21, 2015 at 10:25 am#806362NickHassanParticipantHi Ed,
My words are spirit and truth.
December 21, 2015 at 10:34 am#806365Ed JParticipantHi Nick,
If you were to actually answer my question
with your response, then wouldn’t I know it?But I do not see any answer??? …just a scripted response.
So was your response in the affirmative or No – which?December 21, 2015 at 10:39 am#806366Ed JParticipantHi Nick,
I’m going to tell you the same thing that I told “Wakeup”:
If you don’t answer my questions how can we have meaningful dialog?
December 21, 2015 at 10:39 am#806367NickHassanParticipantHi Ed,
Let the spiritual words speak.
Do not demand carnal interpretations.
December 21, 2015 at 10:41 am#806368Ed JParticipantDo not demand carnal interpretations.
Are you telling me your interpretations are carnal?
December 21, 2015 at 10:45 am#806370NickHassanParticipantHi Ed,
Is that the best you can do?
Servants do not add to the message given to us.
December 21, 2015 at 10:51 am#806373Ed JParticipantHi Ed,
Is that the best you can do?
Hi Nick,
Did Jesus appear?
December 21, 2015 at 10:55 am#806375NickHassanParticipantHi Ed,
Both Matthew and Luke draw the lineage of Jesus through Adam.
Perhaps you are mixing his history up with that the anointing Spirit?
December 21, 2015 at 10:58 am#806376NickHassanParticipantHi Ed,
The origins of the vessel and the Word are well shown in Rom 1.
The flesh contributes nothing.
