Quote (mikeboll64 @ May 17 2013,12:35) Quote (jammin @ May 16 2013,01:02) God the father is not talking to himself.
how many times do i need to tell you this.
GOD the father is talking to GOD the son,
Okay then, show us all a version that says God the Father was talking to God the Son in Gen 1:26.(And BTW, if there is only ONE Almighty God, then even IF God the Father was talking to God the Son, it still adds up to God talking to HIMSELF. It's good to know that IS what you believe, and that you are too ashamed to say it out loud. It says a lot about your doctrine, jammin.)
MAN is talking to himself?how do you understand that boy?

Jammin,So you do not know that just as no man knows the things of a man except the spirit within him so no one knows the things of God but the spirit within him. I obtained that “story” from Scripture.

Kerwin,I was rooting for you in this discussion until you threw that nonsense out there. There is NO scripture that EVER says God's Holy Spirit is His “son”.
Nor is there ANY scripture that EVER says God's Holy Spirit is the third person in a triune Godhead.
jammin, are you saying that John 1:18 says no one has seen God, but God, who is in the bosom of God, came to us in plain view to explain God?
How much sense does that really make?
Mike,Scripture is clear that the Spirit is the primary one that knows the things of God. If there is one there cannot be two that have the same knowledge. titles are not the same as the Spirit is the Son in one way and Jesus is the Son in another.
The Spirit knows the things of God and reveals them to Jesus who in turn reveals them to believers.

Jammin,It does not take a version it just takes knowledge of what a spirit is. Just stating you want a version reveals you lack such knowledge. When writing to the saints at Corinth Paul, while carried along by the Spirit, assumed they had such knowledge. You have not learned it and so are easier to deceive. Scripture assumes believers know many things that we in this time have not been taught.
If you want to learn then it is written:
1 Corinthians 2:11
For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.So who is the only one that knows the things of God?

No they didn't. That is just what you're reading into those verses.jammin, let's talk about this point that you and Kathi neglected to answer about 30 pages ago:
Hebrews 1
In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, 2 but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son……..Who is the “God” that spoke through His Son in “these last days”?

ill repeatdid you notice what daivd say?
he said
Or where can I flee from your presence?do you understand that sentence?
that is one proof that GOD is everywhere.another verse is
‘Am I a God near at hand,' says the Lord, ‘and not a God afar off? Can anyone hide himself in secret places, so I shall not see him?' . . . ‘do I not fill heaven and earth?' says the Lord? (Jeremiah 23:23,24).do you understand that?
GOD is everywhere!
now the meaning of GOD is everywhere is that no one can hide from GOD.
do you understand that? that is the meaning of GOD is everywhere.study hard boy LOL
you cant ignore those verse bec those verses clearly said that GOD is everywhere.
no version would say GOD is not everywhere.

Jammin,I am the one that is unsettled by interpretations that cause spirit to be broken. From what I have seen you are not. Your action on that is not the fruit of God's Spirit. Repent.
Jesus cannot be the Son mentioned in John 1:18 as that causes John 1:18 to come into conflict with 1 Corinthians 2:11. On the other hand John, a Jew, labeling the Spirit as the only begotten Son mere follows the tradition of labeling God's attributes his children.
Your problem is that ignorant and corrupt men have found the truth hard to understand and thus made the Spirit a person instead of the attribute of God he is. This teaching you hold onto breaks Scripture.
