Quote (Nick Hassan @ Feb. 21 2012,11:31) Hi,
“You send forth Your Spirit, they are created and you renew the face of the ground”Ps 104.30
nickPs 104:24 How many are your works, O LORD?
In wisdom you made them all;
the earth is full of your creatures.
Ps 104:25 There is the sea, vast and spacious,
teeming with creatures beyond number—
living things both large and small.
Ps 104:26 There the ships go to and fro,
and the leviathan, which you formed to frolic there.Ps 104:27 These all look to you
to give them their food at the proper time.
Ps 104:28 When you give it to them,
they gather it up;
when you open your hand,
they are satisfied with good things.
Ps 104:29 When you hide your face,
they are terrified;
when you take away their breath,
they die and return to the dust.
Ps 104:30 When you send your Spirit,
they are created,
and you renew the face of the earth.Ps 104:31 May the glory of the LORD endure forever;
may the LORD rejoice in his works—tell me how does God do his works ??

7 Unless I go away, the Counselor will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you.Did Jesus mean to say that after HE goes, he will send HIMSELF back to them? Because the word “him” that Jesus used makes me think that the Counselor is not Jesus himself.
13 But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. 14 He will bring glory to me by taking from what is mine and making it known to you. 15 All that belongs to the Father is mine. That is why I said the Spirit will take from what is mine and make it known to you.
Jesus uses “he” alot in these verses, but the part I bolded should be enough for you to recognize that the spirit is not Jesus himself.
Hi Mike, here's what he said…John 16:16 A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again,
a little while, and ye shall see me, because I go to the Father.God bless

Ed J,Jesus lives in those that believe through the Spirit just as God does.
February 20, 2012 at 10:50 pm#279676mikeboll64BlockedYou guys simply pretend not to see because you know that seeing will spoil your man-made doctrine.
If the spirit will take FROM what belongs to Jesus, then the spirit is NOT Jesus himself. If the spirit will bring glory TO Jesus, then the spirit is NOT Jesus himself.

That doesn't clear up my last post, Nick.ONE thing brought glory TO ANOTHER thing. ONE thing took from what belonged TO ANOTHER thing.
There is no way the words could be speaking of only ONE thing. Instead, the words speak of TWO things, the spirit and Jesus, one of which brought glory to, and took from, the other.

NickI see truth as it is ,not as others told me to see it ,
you still have not acknowledge the WORD of God ( Messiah )came in the flesh .
1Jn 1:5 This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all.
1Jn 1:6 If we claim to have fellowship with him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live by the truth.Jn 1:14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Hi Mike,2 Cor 3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord,
are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.God bless

Well? Did one thing bring glory TO another thing? Or did the Jesus/spirit combo being bring glory to himself?
Which one does the scripture support?
