Perhaps Nick will someday come to see all the holes in his understanding.
One day, he will be reading in John 6 about how Jesus said he came down from heaven and some would see him ascend to where he WAS BEFORE.
Or, he will be reading Col 1, and notice how all things in heaven and earth were created through the only begotten Son of God that he says didn't even exist until he was baptised.
Or in Phil 2, where it is made clear that Jesus was existing in the form of God BEFORE he was made into the likeness of a human being.
I pray that God helps him to understand that Hebrews 1 teaches that in these last days, God spoke through the same one through whom He created the universe.
But we can only lead the horse to the water, Pierre – we cannot force it to drink..
Anyway, I've grown bored of his condescending non-answers.
