They are about the “HolySoirit”, why won't 'you' consider that?
What exactly does that mean?

UNLESS of course your are (QUOTING) someone else as Jesus and the Prophets were. Jesus said the word He was speaking were (NOT) his words. He also said those word of GOD he was quoting were Spirit and Life. You can not separated GOD the Father From His words, no more then you can be separated from your words. You and your words are one and the same thing, because our words proceed out from our hearts, they are a true representation of who and what we are. God's Words are a true representation of who and what He is also. IMO peace and love to you all……………………..gene
My Bible tells me the following about the Word of God:Joh 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Joh 1:2 He was in the beginning with God.
Joh 1:3 All things came into being through Him, and without Him not even one thing came into being that has come into being.Joh 1:14 And the Word became flesh, and tabernacled among us. And we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and of truth.
Heb 4:12 For the Word of God is living and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing apart of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Eph 6:17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God,
Can you see how these Scriptures all refer to Jesus as being the Word of God? Think about it!!

The Holy Spirit (More specifically, The Word of God) was manifested in the flesh that we beheld as Jesus Christ.July 18, 2010 at 8:49 am#204727RokkaManParticipantQuote (terraricca @ July 17 2010,16:58) Quote (RokkaMan @ July 03 2010,16:02) The Word of God is eternal life and love. It is God himself. God is seven spirits (in the same way The Holy Spirit is God's wisdom). According to my belief and maybe not scripture (it could be in scripture but I haven't looked to back up my claim)
I believe the Word of God is the spirit of eternal life and love.
If this spirit was manifested as The Son of God and later Jesus Christ…
It would make sense, that God being alone in the beginning could not love without an object to love
Therefore manifesting a son unto him, that was from him but not him…in the same way we today have children that come from our flesh and blood, but are not exactly us.
Through that love, and manifestation of a Son was EVERYTHING MADE.
All things.
So to me, The Word of God is the spirit of love and eternal life…all things were brought to life “called” creation (event things yet to come).
——–
This is further demonstrated when eternal life and love was manifested as flesh in Jesus Christ…walked, talked, and dwelled among us.
Being perfect and obedient to YHVH The Father, he died for our sins.
In a statement saying, I YHVH love you so much…
that I will put to death eternal life and love for mankind…yet he will be ressurected so that you “mankind” will be ressurected IN eternal life and love.——
We can replace the words eternal life and love for Jesus Christ…and it fits scripturally….We can also resplace eternal life and love and Jesus Christ with God…. and it still fits perfectly.
I know because it fits doesn't make it true…but the more I grow as a christian and I read and understand scripture, this understanding becomes more evident.
edjGod is not eternal live ;God is live,he does not need anything else than himself,
he start to create out of love because he wanted to share what he has,and possess,
you say;;
According to my belief and maybe not scripture (it could be in scripture but I haven't looked to back up my claim)
this is very unwise;on which side are you ?
Pierre
How can God be love, if he doesn't have an object to love?Love = relationship.
You can't be solitary and love.
It is true that God doesn't “NEED”
but there is a difference between a want, and a need.
A need is something required to sustain.
A want is a desire.
———
God of course doesn't NEED anything, but he aparently WANTS us.
If he didn't, he wouldn't be going through the headache he's going through with us now.
———
And love is less than eternal love…so I choose to believe God is eternal love as oppose to simple love as you have stated.July 18, 2010 at 9:31 am#204740OxyParticipantRokkaman, if the Holy Spirit was the Word of God, then why did the Word of God, when He was Jesus, say that He would send the Holy Spirit if He was the Holy Spirit Himself.
And how could the Holy Spirit descend upon Himself at Jesus' baptism?

Hi RokkaMan,Good explanation of John 1:14, but you know that people have been 'brainwashed'
by the 'systems of religion' and 'traditions of men' will resist this “Bible Truth”=117!Witnessing to the world in behalf of YHVH (Psalm 45:17)

God is omnipotent and omnipresent. All of it is God.
The Holy Spirit, The Word of God, YHVH himself…they are all God.
The distinction between The Word of God and The Holy Spirit is it's function and person.
The Word of God, is likened to that of a Son…his function is love and life. He became a man, Jesus Christ, and dwelled among us.
The Holy Spirit is God's Wisdom. He has his own person and function.
All of it comes from God and Is God.
———-The Answer is:
God is omnipotent and omnipresence.
He is everywhere all at once.
The Holy Spirit is The Word of God in the sense that they are both from God and are God.
———–The Word of God as Jesus, said he would send The Holy Spirit, because he being The love and life of God was already there (himself) now he was sending The Wisdom of God.
————
Quote And how could the Holy Spirit descend upon Himself at Jesus' baptism? Like i've explained, The Word of God is God Revealed, he doesn't encompass YHVH's totality.
Jesus probably was oblivious to his task and ministry until he was annointed with YHVH's wisdom (The Holy Spirit).
In the same way he didn't know when he would return in revelation.
So for The Word (love and life) to have (wisdom) descend and fill him, would mark the beginning of Jesus' ministry and bring Jesus closer to his Godhead.
From then did he perform his miracles, having the wisdom to do so.
July 18, 2010 at 10:00 am#204746RokkaManParticipantThese functions can be better understood as the seven spirits of God.

The Spirit of Christ came on Jesus at the Jordan.
God did not pour afresh from His Spirit as in Jl2 but that Spirit given to Christ Jesus was shared with his body at Pentecost.[Jn7.38-39]July 18, 2010 at 10:29 pm#204830NickHassanParticipantHi Oxy,

Hi Oxy,Keep asking questions Oxy, that's how you learn! (Matt.7:7 / 2Tm.2:13)
1) When he was [[[IN]]] Jesus.
(2) Jesus send The HolySpirit in God The fathers behalf (at Pentecost) after he returned to heaven.
And God The Father sent Jesus back (at Pentecost) in the “HolySpirit's behalf with the HolySpirit!
(Click here)3) That' when the HolySpirit entered Jesus.

You confuse Jesus with his body.
He is now at the right hand of our God.
His body is in Spiritual communion with them .
So we too can be said to be seated there[Col3 1]July 19, 2010 at 2:15 am#204902Ed JParticipantQuote (Nick Hassan @ July 19 2010,13:03) Hi ED,

Hi Nick,1) What is his body's name?
2) Jesus and “Our YHVH=117” are in our hearts.
3) Jesus and His Father(HolySpirit) came to us starting at Pentecost. (John 14:23)

God's Kingdom (Christ and HolySpirit) came at Pentecost. (John 14:23)
But are still waiting for God's will to be fully done on Earth. (Psalm 119:89)God bless
