I can't provide scripture stating that The Word of God IS YHVH… however I can definately provide that The Word of God is a manifestation of YHVH.
The OT says over and over, no man can or has ever seen YHVH for if we could, we would die.
Yet there are many instances where people see God?
How can that be?
because we don't SEE GOD, we SEE HIS MANIFESTATIONS.
So with this explaination, are you still going to make me dig for scripture to prove that or can you agree that no man has seen The Source…we've only beheld his glorified manifestations?
Like, The Angel of The Lord, or The Word of God. but never YHVH himself.

You confuse the son of Mary with the Spirit of Christ.July 7, 2010 at 6:30 pm#202372NickHassanParticipantHi RM,

Isn't that what it means to manifest in flesh?July 7, 2010 at 6:34 pm#202377RokkaManParticipantQuote (Nick Hassan @ July 08 2010,05:27) Hi RM,

No I don't, because I know The Son of Mary was the manifestation of The Spirit of Christ. No other man could be identified as such.
July 7, 2010 at 6:36 pm#202378NickHassanParticipantHi RM,
Jesus was a flesh and blood man.
God anointed him at the Jordan and transformed him.
The Christ of God ministered in God's power and name and then died. Now the Lord is the Spirit.
July 7, 2010 at 6:37 pm#202379NickHassanParticipantHi RM,
The Spirit was only given to Jesus at the Jordan,.
From that moment on God was in Him as the holy Spirit.
From then on he differentiated what was of him and what was of God.July 9, 2010 at 6:43 am#202664OxyParticipantQuote (Nick Hassan @ July 08 2010,07:37) Hi RM,

Jesus was begotten of the Father, full of wisdom even at the age of 12. He was obviously His Father's Son. Yes, He received the Holy Spirit at the Jordan and the Holy Spirit was the One who empowerd Christ for His ministry.July 9, 2010 at 6:59 am#202668OxyParticipantNow here's a question for you. Read the following Scripture and tell me who or what the Word is.
Heb 4:12 For the Word of God is living and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing apart of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

The Spirit of Christ. So whose wisdom did he have before the Jordan?
That of the scriptures. The Wisdom he worked in is a gift of the Spirit's anointing.[1Cor12]

We will have to disagree on that one Gene. The Holy Spirit came upon Mary and Christ was conceived, making Him His Father's Son. Begotten of the Father.Prior to this He was the Word of God, not yet the begotten Son.
John 1:14 And the Word became flesh, and tabernacled among us. And we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and of truth.

So Nick, if the Word became flesh at the Jordan, what form did He have before if He had no flesh?July 10, 2010 at 7:45 am#202823OxyParticipantI mean Jesus was born with a body, a body of flesh. Hence it says in Scripture that the Word became flesh. At the Jordan Jesus (in the flesh) received the Holy Spirit in much the same way as we receive the Holy Spirit.

Hi Oxy,Why do people offer opinion instead of Scripture?
Luke 8:11 …The seed is the word of God. (Hebrews 7:28)
“The Word” indeed became flesh at the Jordan river! (John 1:14)
John 12:24: Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat (Jesus=74)
fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much “fruit”=74.Jesus death brought MUCH FRUIT!
Acts 12:24 …the word of God grew and multiplied.
Acts 6:7 And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples
multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith.God bless

Hi Oxy,“The Word” (HolySpirit) now indwells in all Christian believers in God! (Eph.4:4-6)
Eph.4:4-6 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.Witnessing to the world in behalf of YHVH (Psalm 45:17)
