Mike……….Sorry you reject your ties with Trinitarians and consider it a Put Down, But Fact is they Believe in a Preexistent Jesus, and so do you. In fact The “original” source of this Preexistent thing came with the Gnostic's and from there came the Trinitarians and from there came the rest of the Preexistences . You need to also remember those New Testament scripture were translated by TRINITARIANS who are PREEXISTENCES to,  let's not forget that either Mike. I see a very common thread between all Preexistences and Trinitarians and Gnostic's, they all have to deal with a Jesus that preexisted his berth on this earth, can you at least agree with that part of this Mike.

Mike a good study for you and others would be to understand what HEAVEN really means. It may not be exactly what you think it means. And let not forget Jesus said to his disciples they were also from above, and He said he sent them out (EVEN) as GOD sent Him out into the World.  The word “even” means the same way.  

I have come to believe that the word Heaven may be better understood as the high place or higher understanding possibly. It can be applied to a physical location also but i also think it can be applied to a level of thinking to. Not sure on that but it does appear that way at time in scriptures. IMO

now with this type of answer ,would it not be right to say that you do not believe in scriptures as they are written and that YOU are the interpretor of what you believe in them,and do what it takes to make it fit that interpretation ,

Hi Gene,

Couldn't that same thing be said about every human being who ever lived?

Why did no one else ever claim to have come down from heaven?  God told Jeremiah He knew him before He formed him in the womb – yet Jeremiah couldn't make the claim, “I came down from heaven”.

Also, why was it a shock to the Jews to whom Jesus was speaking at the time?  Why did they all grumble and say, “Is this not Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How can he now say, ‘I came down from heaven’?” ?

If it was a matter of every human being able to say, “I came down from heaven because I had a pre-planned birth from God”, then the Jews wouldn't have reacted the way they did.

And finally, Jesus said, “What if you see the Son of Man ascend to where he was before!”

Where was he before, Gene?  Where did many of those Jews later see him ascend to?  

So the teaching was not only that Jesus came down FROM heaven, but that he would also ascend BACK TO heaven.  And many disciples saw him literally and physically ascend back to where he was before.

Gene, do you believe that the PERSON of Jesus literally and physically ascended to heaven?  YES or NO?

And if “YES”, then why is it so hard for you to believe that the PERSON of Jesus literally and physically came down from heaven?

Gene, the teaching from the one you call your Lord says that he both descended from and would ascend back to heaven.  You apparently only want to believe half of your Lord's words.

ED J………..I also believe it was the LOGOS of GOD also that was (IN) them giving them the same perceptions that (IT) did (IN) Jesus, I also believe, that same Logos is (IN) all who Have it (IN) them, and it guides and directs the thoughts of Mind. The words Jesus spoke was from the LOGOS and was SPIRIT (INTELLECT) and WAS the Living GOD, the Father of all who have the Logos which is the HOLY SPIRIT (IN) them..

This is why i believe the Trinitarians are more right then those who believe Jesus was a preexisting Angel, or other kind of being, at least they understand GOD was Present (IN) Jesus. Only problem is they think that JESUS HIMSELF WAS THAT GOD THAT WAS (in) him. But at least they can see God's Presence. Preexistence don't seem to be even able to see that. They think Jesus himself was the LOGOS and this belief they have in agreement with the Trinitarians also because the Trinitarians believe Jesus was the LOGOS also. This they have in common. However Both are just as wrong as the other. IMO

The words Jesus spoke was from the LOGOS and was SPIRIT (INTELLECT) and WAS the Living GOD, the Father of all who have the Logos which is the HOLY SPIRIT (IN) them.. This is why i believe the Trinitarians are more right then those who believe Jesus was a preexisting Angel, or other kind of being,  at least they understand GOD was Present (IN) Jesus. Only problem is they think that JESUS HIMSELF WAS THAT GOD THAT WAS (in) him. But at least they can see God's Presence. Preexistence don't seem to be even able to see that.  They think Jesus himself was the LOGOS and this belief they have in agreement with the Trinitarians also because the Trinitarians believe Jesus was the LOGOS also. This they have in common. However Both are just as wrong as the other. IMO Peace and love to you and yours…………………………….gene

NO,the holy spirit is of God totaly and Christ his the son of God ,he is subject to his father ,the holy spirit his God will,truth ,power,any of those God can give to whom he chooses
