What is it you want to know, Ed? Jesus has many names: Faithful and True, Son of Man, Son of God, Jesus of Nazareth, Jesus the Christ, The Word of God, Lord of lords and King of kings……………..shall I go on?So what if he also has a new name that God has given him? A name that only he and God know for the time being?
I guess I don't get your point. Are you saying that because we don't know ONE of Jesus' names, Rev 19:13 can't be referring to Jesus?

Think it out, Ed. You think the Word in Rev 19:13 is the Holy Spirit. And you think God's Holy Spirit is actually God Himself. So if the one with the name nobody knows was “God”, then I could offer you the same argument you're offering me. I could say, “Well, we already KNOW God's name, YHWH, so “God” is DISQUALIFIED from that scripture.”
Hebrews 1:4
So he became as much superior to the angels as the name he has inherited is superior to theirs.Revelation 3:12
Him who overcomes…………. I will also write on him my new name.Ed, Jesus has inherited a NEW name – one that no one knows except for him.
So, does the fact that that he has his unknown new name written on him exclude the rider from being Jesus?
If so, please explain why.
December 8, 2011 at 12:36 am#267104mikeboll64BlockedRevelation 14
11 I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and makes war.Who will rule in justice? (Psalm 45:6, Hebrews 1:8)
Who has been appointed as judge? (John 5:22, 27)
Who will go to war? (1 Corinthians 15:24-25, Revelation 17:14)12 His eyes are like blazing fire……….
Whose eyes are like blazing fire? (Revelation 1:14, 2:18)
15 Out of his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. “He will rule them with an iron scepter.”
Who has a sword coming out of his mouth? (Revelation 1:16, 2:16)
Who will rule with an iron scepter? (Psalm 2:9)16 On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written:
KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.Who is the King of kings and Lord of lords? (Revelation 17:14)
Ed, all of these things describe “the Word of God” in Revelation 19. If you cannot see that these things describe Jesus, then I fear that you are trying very hard to not see it.
