Quote (Nick Hassan @ April 20 2012,08:50) Hi Colter,
In Whose power did Jesus work?
He is the Son of God, he has the powers that the Father gave him. Jesus didn't teach that the baptism was the where his power came from. Your confusing the necessary assumptions of your particular doctrine with the record.Colter

Yes he received the Spirit of Sonship at the Jordan.
Baptism is the Spirit is the source of power.November 16, 2012 at 9:58 pm#320664carmelParticipantEd wrote:[/quote]
Quote Is the HolySpirit and the Spirit of Christ the same? Edj,
The spirit of Christ is God's spirit.
the Holy Spirit is also God's spirit.
the Father's spirit is also God's spirit
they are three distinct spirits
But they are also one in God Almighty.
When Jesus was on earth although He was one human being, He still was God
in the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
THE HOLY SPIRIT IS THE “CONJUNCTION” BETWEEN THE FATHER'S AND THE SON'S SPIRIT.
AS PART OF THE PROCESS THE SON'S SPIRIT WAS TRANSFORMED AS SOULS IN CREATION IN ORDER TO BE THE MEDIATOR FOR HUMANS.
ALL IN HIM!!!
HUMANS WERE EVIL CREATURES:
JESUS CONFIRMED :
YOU ARE FROM BENEATH I AM FROM ABOVE…..
THE SOUL(JESUS’SPIRIT) WAS CREATED PURPOSELY FOR GOD THE FATHER TO ABIDE WITHIN IT THROUGHOUT THE PROCESS OF OUR CREATION.
JESUS CONFIRMED THIS WHEN HE SAID
THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS LIKE A TREASURE HIDDEN IN A FIELD'
THE FATHER WAS ALL THE TIME HIDDEN IN THE SPIRIT OF JESUS AS SOULS THROUGH THE HOLY SPIRIT THOUGH!
JESUS CONFIRMED THIS WHE HE SAID:
THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS IN THE MIDST OF YOU.
NOTICE HE SAID :
IS
THERFORE ALWAYS WAS IN THE SOULS!
NOTICE:
IN THIS MANNER THE FATHER IS IN THE SON:
SINCE THE SOUL IS JESUS' SPIRIT SUBSTANCE AS A MEDIATOR!!!
BUT THROUGH THE HOLY SPIRIT, NOT DIRECT.
SO THE SOUL IS IN THE HUMAN BODY
THE HOLY SPIRIT IS IN THE SOUL
AND THE FATHER /SON ( THE TRUE GOD, AND JESUS CHRIST,AFTER GLORIFICATION)IS IN THE HOLY SPIRIT.
JESUS CONFIRMED THIS WHEN HE SAID:
IF YOU LOVE ME I AND THE FATHER WOULD MAKE OUR ABODE IN YOU!!!
BUT DEFINITELY THROUGH THE HOLY SPIRIT!!!
Peae and love in Jesus

So when Jesus said “Not my Will”, what did he mean?
Is not “our Spirit” that determines what “our will” is?God bless

I will read through this when I get some time.December 2, 2012 at 7:28 pm#323214942767ParticipantNo, Ed. they are not the same. The Holy Spirit is God's Spirit and the Spirit of Christ is the Son's spirit. They are two different persons. The Son's Spirit was formed in him as he obeyed His Father unto death on the cross. He was sanctified by the Father through the Father's Word,
Here is scripture that may help:
Quote 2 john 1:9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. Love in Christ,

This is what John the baptist said relative to this:
Quote Jhn 1:29 ¶ The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. Jhn 1:30 This is he of whom I said, After me cometh a man which is preferred before me: for he was before me.
Jhn 1:31 And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water.
Jhn 1:32 And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him.
Jhn 1:33 And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.
Jhn 1:34 And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God.
After he was baptized in water by John the baptism, he received the baptism of the Holy Spirit, and God spoke from heaven acknowledging him as “His beloved Son”, and this was the beginning of his ministry as God's Christ.

MartyQuote The Son's Spirit was formed in him as he obeyed His Father unto death on the cross. He was sanctified by the Father through the Father's Word, this is not what scriptures are saying ;even as a child Christ was able to display wisdom and advance knowledge in his father written words,
but what puzzles me more is that God is his father so Jesus was born through the power of God's holy spirit ;what is this mean??? and what does it mean wen J.T.BPT tells that Christ existed before he was conceived and what it means that Jesus confirmed what John the bpt says by saying that he ,Jesus< is the only one that came down from heaven and also demonstrate it by saying that he will return to his father by ascending to heaven in the eyes of about 500 ,
so should we canceled out those words that Christ spooked, or should we interpret them as we feel it should be ,
what you think Marty
