So you say
Hi Nick:If God spoke to humanity through him according to Hebrews 1, how then is he the Word in John 1?

The Word was with God and the Word was God.
The Word was made flesh and dwelt amongst us.March 4, 2012 at 3:38 pm#282549GeneBalthropParticipantMike…………. 1 Ti 3:16…..> And without controversy great is the mystery of (“GODLINESS) : God was manifested (IN) the FLESH, justified in the SPIRIT, seen by Angels (messengers), preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, recieved up into glory.
Mike, GOD who is the WORD was truly (IN) Jesus by the very presence of his SPIRIT in him.
Why can't you understand that? Brother.
peace and love to you and yours………………….gene

David is right about this thread. It is pure sensationalism based on YOUR very flawed translation of what David claimed.
I could remove the thread, but I think it is better to leave it so people can see just how far you'll go to twist the truth – both of scripture and of the members of this site.
As you'll recall, this isn't the first time you've pulled an underhanded stunt like this, is it?
You should be ashamed of yourself.
What if David quoted something about the seven spirits of God mentioned in Revelation? Would you then start a thread claiming that the JWs believe God is “seven” spirits?
What if he quoted that God is the Father of spirits? Would you start a thread claiming that the JWs believe that God is “thousands of” spirits?
What you've done here is below even you. You should apologize to David and the JW organization for this crappy sensationalistic thread.

Hi Nick:Word in John 1 = Logos. What is the definition of Logos?
