Jesus tomb was paradise you say??I do not think the AV of the KJV messes up the passage so much you cannot understand Jesus' body was one place while his soul was in another.
Acts 2:27
Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)27 because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
Scripture declares God will not leave Jesus' soul in hell. Jesus' tomb is not hell, nor was it in hell.
Kerwin.Jesus did not go anywhere when he died, but sleeping in His tomb. He was not resurrected untill three days of sleeping.
All the dead are in their graves;they dont venture around the place. They are dead/asleep.untill the graves will be opened. When Lazarus the brother of Mary died;Jesus said; Lazarus is asleep.
He did not go to heaven nor hell.wakeup.

I believe DEATH AND HADES in rev 20 speak of two places where souls await judgement“13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
Nick.Good one.

Parables are full of truth and prophecy.
Nick.Of couse but must be truly understood.
In truth lazarus did not venture anywhere; he is asleep in his grave. But at the coming he will be in paradise.
To Lazarus it seems as it was that same day he died, because he can not know that he has been in his grave for two thousand years. To him it is just like a wink of an eye. This is also the case when Jesus said: the kingdom is at hand. But look two thousand years has gone.
So what is he saying? Many today are put off by this saying, because they did not undestand. Those people Jesus spoke to are dead;they dont have to wait two thousand years. The kingdom is near for every generation;because no one knows if he will be here tomorrow. One could die tomorrow, and in a wink of an eye
he will see Christ before him.wakeup.

Paradise does not appear often in scripture but you use the word a lot.
The kingdom began when Jesus died and men were able to enter it through obedience to his command. The sons of God will be revealed when he returns in glory

WU,John 4 states:
John 3:9-10
Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)9 Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be? 10 Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?
Jesus wonders why Nicodemus even asked the question since he should already know the answer. That tells us his teaching not new.

The story of Lazarus going to paradise was a parable.
Just as the wheat and the tares, and many parables. That means what? Are there not fields in which farmers plant wheat? Jesus simply told a parable whose punchline was about someone being raised from the dead and based it on the known doctrine of the 1st Century kingdom of God.
You can look up Abraham's bosom as you will find it was a doctrine as I said. Do you believe Jesus used a heretical doctrine to make his point in parable.
Jesus told the thief I will see you this day in paradise and that same doctrine that Jesus used in his parable has a pleasure ground in it. That place where Jesus' and the thief's soul was going by the end of the day.

Kerwin………Jesus did not say the thief would be with him in paradise “that day” what he said was this, I am telling you this day, you “SHALL BE” with me in Paradise. Jesus did not go to any paradise that day , he went to the grave, because he was dead. Basically he was just tell in the thief that, he would in the future be with him in Paradise.Peace and love to you and yours………………………gene

Nick.Paradise is not yet on earth,Jesus has to create it first.
Babylon must be destroyed first.
All israel will be green with great trees growing.
The animals will not bite. The lion will eat straw.
No pain,no sorrows,no wars, all will be at peace.
Everyone will live up to one hundred years old,and then die.Because the prince of peace is ruling.
And his saints with Him.
We are not in paradise at the moment;we have to go through
the tribulation first;and resurrected. The chosen jews of all generations will be brought back to their land, which will be paradise.
The saints have inherited heaven and earth.I had to mention Paradise many times to explain.

Because they can not understand the spiritual.
The tief will see Jesus in paradise that day.
