I fail to understand

I tried to upload a pic and I fail to understand how to do so. I'm to use to just clicking browse and picking a pic downloaded from my computer.

You can't upload to the forum, but you can link to files that are already online.
For example, if you go to Google Images and find an image from any site, then find out its path and then put that in when clicking the image button.

Here is the path to the Heaven Net logo.

Here it is when I put that path into the image button dialog box.

t8, how would I get one of these photos to show on my post?

You need to find out the URL to the image.
In this instance it was:
http://i797.photobucket.com/albums….037.jpg

I then input that path when I clicked the image button.

The way to get an image URL is to right click on the image you want to display in any browser and then do the following depending on which browser you use,

Chrome: “Copy image URL”.
Firefox choose “copy image location”.
IE (the worse browser) choose Properties. In the Properties box select the URL under Address URL and once selected, you right click on the selected URL and click copy.

Now you have the image URL. Simply paste (right click and paste) URL into the dialog box that pops up when you click the “Image” button in Heaven Net.

Once you get the hang of it, it is both easy and useful.

Ok, that was easy, but how do you put up a video from, say, youtube?

Then click in the box with the code and it should highlight all the code. Right click and copy. Then paste the code into the post.

Lol yeah I should have been more specific. I was mainly thinking of my avatar and pro pics. Do you do the same as posting? I'm aware for the methods mentioned for posting but usually for the pro/avatar you can just upload a saved pic and not go through streaming sites and all that.

Two options.

1) Choose from already available avatars
2) Link to avatar on another site.

You cannot upload avatars, but I could put it into the avatar collection if you want, then you could choose it. But so could others.
If it is online somewhere, put it in a post, and I will put it in the Avatar folder.
