I’m thinking of banning Google

I am thinking of banning Google from indexing the site. Why?

Because most of the traffic these days comes from Bing and Duckduck Go.

Google doesn’t like this site anymore because of topics like the C v1 raz.

And notice how I have to speak in code because of censoring.

If the site was detached from Google, we could speak plainly.

You might think then just let the site sink in Google naturally. Why ban google?

Because this negative view that Google has of the site might transfer across to other sites I own.

Let me know what you think.

Do any regular members use Google to find this site?

I usually use Chrome as my browser. I have HN on my toolbar. I don’t need to search for it. Does that mean anything to you?

Thanks for letting me know. It wouldn’t affect you then.

    I have banned Google.

Let’s see how this works out.

One downside is the site search isn’t there anymore as that was run by Google.

Instead, I have replaced Google Search in the website with Duckduck Go. It works great and is best of all it is anonymous and censorship free.

Instead of the Google Search field on the page, a link takes you to the new search engine.

This will help you in searching content on this site.

Screw Google, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, the MSM, and the whole lot of these censoring bastards!  I use Duck Duck Go.  Most people don’t even realize that Orwell’s 1984 is happening right before their eyes.  They are re-writing history and banning any speech that goes against the powers that be.  That’s why I get my news from Telegram.  You can join and follow “We the Media” channel and stay caught up in what’s really happening around the world – as opposed to the official narrative of the MSM.  I follow a few other channels too, but that one covers most newsworthy topics.

And you won’t find this truth on mainstream social media either, because if you speak against the official narrative, they just get rid of you.  Twitter banned me almost a year ago.

The good news is that Trump’s Truth Social is up and running (beta version, Apple only) now.  Millions are trying to join, and they are vetting people to make sure they’re not bots – so it’s taking a long time.  The regular version is supposed to be up and going by the end of March.  I can’t wait.  So much truth is going to reach so many people who have been lost in the lies for too long.

I’m looking forward to Truth Social myself. But I’m probably at the end of the queue since I live at the end of the world. Americans first which is fair enough. I think the platform will be a target by radical leftist hackers, but pray that it remains online and becomes a viable platform for free speech. Thank God for Trump!

A question regarding Telegram. I think I tried this out earlier on, but it filled my phone up with all the videos and photos, so had to delete it. Will download again when I upgrade my phone. Is that what it does for you too? If not, then I might be thinking of a different app. Regardless, it is actually a smart move to not host the content itself, rather let that content reside on the clients device. That way hackers can never remove the content and it makes it an efficient service to run.

As for Google. They use to be the good guys back when Microsoft were doing evil. I became a partner for them and they were amazing with their support and advertising pay outs etc. But alarm bells started ringing when Google decided to be pro-abortion back some 10 or 15 years ago. I knew that it was wrong for a company that collates the world’s data and make it universally accessible to then take sides on politics and social issues.

So I use multiple browsers. Google Chrome for mail, Workspace, and YouTube, etc.
Brave with Duck loaded in as the search engine for Heaven Net and other sites like Rumble and some news sites.
And I use Microsoft Chrome for my work email.

This works I think because it stops any one company from understanding my every habit. I feel like Google, Facebook, Twitter, etc practice a form of Social Credit. I think that is evil especially from powerful companies. As time goes on, these companies will dictate to the government. It is already happening IMO. Trump and other Conservatives can stop this. But it ultimately might come down the US splitting into two or more countries. I just can’t see the rift healing itself short of a common enemy uniting them together again.

BTW, it is possible that Apple might buy DuckduckGo. Why? Because Apple now have an inbuilt anti-tracking feature in their phones and this is one of the reasons why Facebook has lost hundreds of billions of dollars in value. It looks like Apple is taking privacy seriously because they do not need to snoop on people as much as Google and Facebook and privacy is a selling point. Thus, it would make a good fit for Apple to have their own search. Why not. They created their own maps and the more they do not need Google the better for them. If that happened, my next phone will be an iPhone instead of an Android.

As you know, Google was placing this site further down their results when you searched on ‘Heaven Net’ because some topics being discussed infringe on their truthometer. So I banned Google and now it is no 1 for that search term. Lol. I guess they just can’t handle being shut out. I have noticed in the past when you ban Google, they try to find the way to index you. They did this with a part of a website I worked on that had a private members only area. They found the way to index it despite telling them to not index that part of the site using the official method.

So that is how you do it. If they censor you, then just ban them. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain at that point. Then their ‘organizing the world’s information and making it universally accessible and useful’ strategy kicks in. Strange to think that banning Google leads to better SEO in some cases. I guess they show more respect when you play hard to get.
