The forums have been down for the last day. Apologies, it was my fault. Upon adding in the email address of a spammer to the spam filter, I mistakenly added a non-allowed character (on the end of the address) which surprisingly tripped up the whole forum. This disabled me from undoing my work as the Control Panel was not available.
I had to resort to editing scripts to allow temporary access with no filters in place to undo the error.
Took a few hours but got there in the end.
In case you are wondering, I also had the option of restoring a backup. But that is the last resort as the last backup is never 100% up to date.
