Does God have a sense of humor?

I ask this question because God has other emotions like love, compassion and even anger.  Gods Peace to all here!

If he doesn’t then I guess it is part of our sinful nature. I think God has a sense of humour hence why we have one.

However, children have a sense of humour and we often find it very childish but cute. Maybe that is how God sees humour?

Love compassion anger and maybe even humour would be inherited from God… but each can become corrupt.

Nick….You sure can, did he not make us in his likeness. Does scripture not say, “the hidden atributes of God, are seen by the things created?
There is humor in the creation, as well as severity.

Nick….Good humor is not sinfull, and yes I do think we can be like him, in fact that is exactly what he desires us to become, haven’t you ever read, “Be you holy because I (God) am holy”, be you perfect because I (God) am perfect”.

Nick, surely you don’t believe God desires us to go around all negative all the time. knowing what we know, we should above all people have postive atitudes. If we have the spirit of the living God in us we should above all people have peace and joy.

Nick….”there is a time to cry (AND) a time to laugh.”, a time for everything Nick. NOTHING WRONG WITH GODLY HUMOR. IMO

I love humour.

Laughter is good for us I think.

But I also know that it is based on various forms of lying.

Exaggeration, minimisation, confusion, blame and mocking deprecation of self and others.

Nick….I do agree, what some think is humourous can be hertfull and even harmful, to me thats not humor. Anything that herts anything is not humourous to me. But there is humour that doesn’t hert anything, a good laugh, even about ourselves can be good for us sometimes.
