Hi Pierre,BD makes a weak argument, that because satan was allowed to torture Job,
that somehow justifies muslims torturing Christians AND Jews into submission?
BD, you should drop the 'book of fraud', it is really reeking havoc on your mind.B'shem, יהוה (YÄ-hä-vā)

Although the question had nothingto do with your statement why don'tyou answer the same question.Didn't God directly ALLOW Satan to kill most all of Job's family, destroy much of his property and even torture Job himself? Yes or No?

That was to show all the Angels that Job was loyal to YHVH
regardless of what the enemy did to him. (Read the book of Job)Just like Christians and Jews will never submit to your false god 'al-lah',
allowing them to be beheaded in open defiance of your PHONEY god. (Rev.20:4)It seems you lost your fear of the living God, and instead worship a fake!
Luke 12:4-5 And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.
But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.B'shem, יהוה (YÄ-hä-vā)

I don't understand why you could not answer the question. It was a yes or no question so even if you selected yes or no with an explanation it would do but you didn't even try to answer because you are afraid to know God
BodNo it was not a question yes or no ,it was a loaded question,
But if GOD aloud all the things to happen he also has the power to restore live,
But do you think that the ones that killed Job family will be off the wrath of GOD ?
Even Satan do you think that he is off the wrath of GOD ?
You do the things you do because you want to do them got it ?
Wicked people do wickedness even wen God permit it ,the wrath is deserved

I didn't ask for a reason, I just asked didn't God allow it.

It seems your thread has derailed. Have we decided yet whether or not spirit beings have bodies?

You are right Mike but no one replied to this:Samuel 28:13-14
New International Version (NIV)
13 The king said to her, “Don’t be afraid. What do you see?”
The woman said, “I see a ghostly figure[a] coming up out of the earth.”
14 “What does he look like?” he asked.
“An old man wearing a robe is coming up,” she said.
Then Saul knew it was Samuel, and he bowed down and prostrated himself with his face to the ground.
It appears that Samuel appeared as a spiritual body

bod1Sa 28:13 And the king said unto her, Be not afraid: for what sawest thou? And the woman said unto Saul, I saw gods ascending out of the earth.
1Sa 28:14 And he said unto her, What form is he of? And she said, An old man cometh up; and he is covered with a mantle. And Saul perceived that it was Samuel, and he stooped with his face to the ground, and bowed himselfMarch 12, 2012 at 12:50 am#284307mikeboll64BlockedPierre,
In verse 18, it is the word “elohim”, and should be translated as “a god”. She was basically seeing a spirit being, IMO.

Mikedo I miss something here ??
1Sa 28:15 And Samuel said to Saul, Why hast thou disquieted me, to bring me up? And Saul answered, I am sore distressed; for the Philistines make war against me, and God is departed from me, and answereth me no more, neither by prophets, nor by dreams: therefore I have called thee, that thou mayest make known unto me what I shall do.
1Sa 28:16 Then said Samuel, Wherefore then dost thou ask of me, seeing the LORD is departed from thee, and is become thine enemy?
1Sa 28:17 And the LORD hath done to him, as he spake by me: for the LORD hath rent the kingdom out of thine hand, and given it to thy neighbour, even to David:
1Sa 28:18 Because thou obeyedst not the voice of the LORD, nor executedst his fierce wrath upon Amalek, therefore hath the LORD done this thing unto thee this day.
1Sa 28:19 Moreover the LORD will also deliver Israel with thee into the hand of the Philistines: and tomorrow shalt thou and thy sons be with me: the LORD also shall deliver the host of Israel into the hand of the Philistines.
1Sa 28:20 Then Saul fell straightway all along on the earth, and was sore afraid, because of the words of Samuel: and there was no strength in him; for he had eaten no bread all the day, nor all the night.March 12, 2012 at 1:16 am#284312mikeboll64BlockedQuote (terraricca @ Mar. 11 2012,19:00) Mike do I miss something here ??
You quoted a translation of “gods”. The lady saw a god – ie: Samuel in spirit form.March 12, 2012 at 1:33 am#284317terrariccaParticipantQuote (mikeboll64 @ Mar. 12 2012,19:16) Quote (terraricca @ Mar. 11 2012,19:00) Mike do I miss something here ??
