    Hi MB,
Is MOST LIKELY good enough for you?

    Nick,

    Yesterday you said:

    Hi MB,
It seems likely he is now in the same place as Moses-they met Jesus on the mountain

Is “LIKELY” good enough for YOU?

Nick, I have been asking for quite a while now, but here goes again……………..

If you don't have a SCRIPTURAL reason to refute or rebut anything I post here, then keep your arrogant, condescending comments to yourself, please.

    Hi MB,
Is MOST LIKELY enough for you or do you require a higher standard of proof?

    Hi MB,
There are some unknowns and we should acknowledge them rather than teaching on the basis of assumed probabilities.

So do you acknowledge that you don't really KNOW that Elijah wasn't taken up to God's heaven, and you don't KNOW that he hasn't been dwelling in that place ever since?

    the way I understand it is this ;

first the soul that sins must die;this is the rule ;for all men ………..

Is God allowed to make an exception for those like Elijah, who were baptised with His Holy Spirit?

Pierre, I've read your understanding, and you are welcome to it. But remember that your understanding doesn't allow for God to have taken Enoch and Elijah up to heaven. And although it isn't specified exactly for Enoch, scripture is quite clear that God DID take Elijah up to heaven.

How do you work around this with your understanding?

    Okay then Nick.

When I tell someone here MY understanding, and YOU don't have one shred of scriptural evidence to refute that understanding, then you should feel free to tell us how YOU understand it – WITHOUT trying to belittle or discredit MY understanding, okay?

If you can't SCRIPTURALLY prove me wrong, then why do you post things that make it seem like you are so SURE that I AM wrong?   ???

    Hi MB,
Perhaps to remind you be accurate and to stay out of speculative teaching?
A higher standard is expected of teachers jas 3.1

    Nick,

Your comments are often petty, usually mean-spirited and condescending, and almost always beneath a response from me.

If you ever shine some scriptural light on an understanding I post here, I will respond. Until that time, I will ignore all of your posts.

    Mike

how can a man escape the curse of Adam without the sacrifice of Christ ????can you get around that one ???

and all men are born in sin and miss the glory of God ,so like I think it is ;they both die on the way (flesh body but their soul went to God bosom )and waited for the time of resurrection,

this is why Jesus said GOD IS NOT THE GOD OF THE DEAD

    and yet Abraham was dead for a long time ;

so has long that your soul as not been judged by God you are not dead ( the soul that is ) but you may not enjoy the place were it is if you are not righteous.

    Hi MB,
    Which heaven?

    Nick,

Scripture states his definition was heaven?

Do you believe he is in the air or orbits earth?

He was taken to heaven in the presence of the chariot of God.

A whirlwind took him to heaven just like Jesus ascended to heaven, and Enoch was taken by God.

These things are discerned by spiritual man.

To All………….Where it says God is not the God of the Dead. Think about it! a dead person has no God becasue he is “DEAD” God can only be a God of a living person, not a DEAD ONE. Jesus was not meaning Abraham was still alive when he made that statement.  Abraham died and is dead and awaits the first resurrection of the dead. There has none risen from the dead to eternal life but JesusHe is the first born from all creation on earth unto eternal life and before his resurrection he was as dead as Abraham , Moses, Elijah, and all the rest who are still waiting a resurrection from the dead. “these (ALL) “DIED” in HOPE not “YET” receiving the “PROMISE” There is none risen to eternal life but Jesus alone. IMO

peace and love to you all……………………………………………gene
