“Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee;” (Jer 1:4-5)

    Hi ED,
    God sends his Spirit.
The Spirit of Christ, the Word, was in the prophets. 1 peter 1 10-12

    Hi Nick,

You may be, just maybe starting to get it now.

The Spirit of Christ was *IN* the prophets,
    -BUT-
“The Word” of YHVH *CAME* to the prophets.

The Spirit of Christ was *IN* Jesus of Nazareth,
    -BUT-
the “HolySpirit” *CAME* down from God to Jesus of Nazareth.

    Hi ED,
Are you finally seeing the light?
The Word of God, the Spirit of Christ, expressed the words of God through the anointed ones.

    Hi ED,
The anointed man Jesus is the great prophet prophesied by Moses.[acts]
Like all prophets the Spirit of Christ was in him.

    Hi ED,
Note also Acts 3.20 and how God chooses various ways to express this truth

”And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:” (Acts 3:20)

Yes that verse was fulfilled on “Pentecost” compare with Hebrews 9:28…

”So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him
shall he appear the second time (Pentecost) without sin unto salvation.” (Heb 9:28)

    Hi ED,
You think the message Peter gave to the crowd was really for the disciples?
Yes he still brings salvation to those who look for him.

But Pentecost was not for salvation but equipping the saints for service.

    Hi Nick,

“The Word” is Jesus’ father, not Jesus.

    Hi ED,
The Holy Spirit is the father of Jesus.
The Word is of the Spirit of God.

The word OF THE OATH appoints the Son

    Hi ED,
The anointed man Jesus is the great prophet prophesied by Moses.[acts]
Like all prophets the Spirit of Christ was in him.

Yes Nick, I know that. but please respond to this…

Your ideas have Jesus in two places at the same time.
Tell me that you cannot see this dilemma of your theology?
Well, how do you rectify this? Please explain this (if you can)?

If you cannot, then consider this as evidence that has drawn me
to the conclusion that “The Word” is Jesus’ father instead of Jesus.

    Hi ED,
The abilities of the Spirit never fail to amaze.
The Spirit of Christ is active in all who are of the Spirit.
The same qualities as in the Spirit of God united with Which the Spirit of Christ is one.

The Jordan was the sharing of the Holy Spirit with Jesus
Pentecost was the sharing of the Spirit of Christ with all the believers present

    Hi Ed,
The Spirit is as the wind.
All the prophets lived ordinary lives except when that wind blew

    Hi Ed,
Satan’s biggest mistake was to kill Jesus and thus release the Spirit of Christ to act for Jesus and God in millions of men.

Nick…..God said clearly they could have lived forever had they eaten of t he tree of life which was in the midst of the garden.

Gen 3:22… > “And the LORD God said, behold the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and “LIVE FOR EVER”:

Now tell me Nick what part of that you fail to understand? Adam and Eve had access to the tree of life that was in the midst of the garden all along, before they sinned , they were told they could eat of all the trees in the garden except the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, Gos did not originally prevent them from the tree of life , that came after they had sinned.

So what was God’s original intention, it was to allow man to eat of the tree of life and live just as he was created, you have not one scripture that say mankind is or was a substandard creation, God looked at it and said it was good, you look at it and say it is bad, now who are we to believe you or God the Father?. Just your own assumptions, based on your own personal feelings regarding our sin reddened bodies, which can be cleansed and regenerated, by eating from the tree of life, which was in the midst of the garden, if you are found worthy.

Peace and love to you and yours………………..gene

    Hi GB,
That is not the definition of imperishable.
You may keep your old body but I would prefer the new one promised

Nick, please explain this dilemma for me, OK?

The Spirit of Christ was *IN* the prophets,
    -BUT-
“The Word” of YHVH *CAME* to the prophets.

In this example you have “the spirit of Christ” in two places.
Coming to the Prophets and also being in the prophets at the same time.

But with my understanding the “HolySpirit” came the Prophets and came to Jesus Christ.
Now in the next example YOU SAY ‘the HolySpirit is the spirit of Christ’ , so now in this
next illustrated dilemma, you have “the spirit of Christ” in *AND ALSO* coming to Jesus Christ.

The Spirit of Christ was *IN* Jesus of Nazareth,
    -BUT-
the “HolySpirit” *CAME* down from God to Jesus of Nazareth.

And because YOU also believe that the HolySpirit *IS* (according to Nick) “the spirit of Christ”
YOU have “the spirit of Christ” coming to “the spirit of Christ”.

Now please resolve this dilemma I have carefully laid out for you, if you ever hope to convince anyone that your view is correct.

Nick…..Why are you continually dodging the scripture I quoted? If your body could can live forever, that does not qualify it as imperishable? Interesting, are you splitting hairs, OK how about continually being regenerated, forever, does that fit for you?

peace and love to you and yours…………..gene

    Hi GB,
You do not believe the imperishable needs to be put over the perishable and you want just a rehab job.
Your choice from your master’s teachings I guess
