So today I decided I am tired of some of the crap I put up with, and decided to take control. Spoke my mind to a couple of people (and mostly got what I wanted). Then went to work after ordering some St John’s Wort (for depression because I have been depressed), and admitted to my workmates I have been depressed. They totally got it and have suffered it themselves. I think so many people suffer depression silently these days, even putting on a brave face like Robin Williams. Life is not easy. Treat people kindly. Their ‘attitude’ or anger could be depression.

You are so right: Their ‘attitude’ or anger could be depression.
I’ll pray for you, that God will take this depression from you.
Attitude is everything. The spiritual armour of God gives us strength and protections. Ask for God’s help. God bless you 🙏

Most everyone suffers from depression at times, that when we need a little space and prayer time, to be with our loving heavenly Father. I see the good in you every time you post sis.
Peace and love to you and yours. ……..gene

I am okay, I’m improving from where I was a few weeks ago. I think St John’s Wort is helping.
That is the trouble though in New Zealand. People don’t talk about depression much. It’s completely mishandled by Doctors and specialists. We have the highest suicide rate in the world and I think that’s shocking.
At least schools are talking about it more these days, though.
April 9, 2019 at 10:10 am#844705MiiaParticipantGene you are right. Too much negativity through the news doesn’t help. Neither does social media like Facebook, it can make people feel inadequate. Loss is also a big trigger – loss of a loved one, loss of a home etc.
