If we are eternal, we were there with Him.
II COR 5:1 † For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
The sons of God in Gen. is speaking of those men that are His, not angel beings.

Marlin1.The sons of God mensioned in gen 6 are the angels that left their estate,and came down to earth,and defiled themselves with women.

Enoch enlarges on their origin.
The Sin in the flesh Paul spoke of in Rom 7.
‘He who has died has been freed from Sin’ and Paul wanted to die.
The sin that conversed with Jesus and knew who he was and knew they were condemned.

Jesus sets many free when he came but barely touched the surface as he had a mission to the lost sheep of Israel.
And even Jesus was not able to perform many miracles in his home town due to lack of faith.
Will there be faith on earth when the son of man returns?
Nick….Good question, I think as the whole world gose in general i doubt it, just a few who God has reavealed himself to. All others have supasitions, which they recieved from different world religions. Faith “IS” the thibgs “HOPED” for, brought about by the “EVIDENCE” of things not seem. Who has ever seem God?, is it not throse who have had prayers answered, they are the ones God has reavealed himself too. That is the “EVIDENCE” given unto the true believers.

The book of Enoch is a complete Book of Jewish fables. Are you completely unaware of it’s contradictions and blasphemies to the bible?
I know you don’t align your beliefs fully with the pagan “convert” Justin Martyr (who loved Plato and fit his philosophies into the bible wherever he could), however when it comes to fallen angels, I guess you certainly do.
Justin wrote a dialogue between him and Trypho, who scholars don’t seem to believe really existed, but regardless what did exist was the debate at that time of whether or not angels rebelled, and Justin used Trypho to discuss the debate. Trypho said to Justin according to Justin,” The utterances of God are holy, but your expositions are mere contrivances, as is plain from what has been explained by you; nay, even blasphemies, for you assert that angels sinned and revolted from God.” Justin then goes on to explain that angels did fall.
I just find it interesting that the debate existed back then as well, and the person defending the doctrine was a pagan convert who preached many false ideas.
Shall we discuss all of the serious problems with the book of Enoch?
One of the common arguments for the book of Enoch is that Jude quotes it, well Paul quotes popular pagan writers of his time, but did that mean that Paul then believed every word of these pagan writers? Uh NO absolutely not.
Just reading about all the “heavens” in the Second Book of Enoch. Goodness Gracious!!
Nick could you explain, do you think that this book which I see as blasphemous, is the INSPIRED Word of God? Or are you just using some of it’s notions to try and defend your belief?

As soon as you can show proof of blasphemy.
Remember your personal opinion carries no weight.
It is quoted in Jude and you seem happy to approve that book.
