I use the RSV. But if I need to check something, I now go to the Lamsa.

I realise that the NIV has a couple of additions -JESUS in Jn 12.41 for example- and I avoid it.
But the AKJV MANUSCRIPT choices are of the MAJORITY TEXT which have no greater guarantee of accuracy than any other.
I dislike the denigration of others as CORRUPTED when you cannot compare apples with apples.

If you look at the interlinear of the Aramaic text, the proper reading has 'God' in Acts 20:28.

You can check that out yourself. Go here and click on 'Interlinear NT' and look at the word translated as 'God' in Acts 20:27. It is the same word that you find in Acts 20:28.
