The poor guy up the road gets my order with additions like 82 degrees and fill it up 2 inches above the top of the cup. He politely says no problem, anything else.

I like people who just roll with the punches like that.

Ok, next question is an upside down nail when the sharp point is pointing up or the head…just kidding, I really don't need an answer. :D

Yeah the nail is probably the right way up for you guys.

I suppose I should mention a couple of things as to why the Southern Hemisphere is the supreme hemisphere.

    1) The Southern Hemisphere is significantly less polluted than the Northern Hemisphere because of we have 10 to 12% of the human population.

    2) We get a view of the centre of the galaxy. You can see it on a clear night, it looks like a big oblong cloud of hazy light. Our clear skies give us a much better view of the sky too.

    3) Ancient Chinese maps puts us at the top. Think about it, why are you guys at the top of today's maps. Not really fair is it. If we can see the centre of the galaxy, then you guys are at the bottom.

    4) We live nearer to the largest deposit of fresh water in the world. Antarctica has 70% of the world's supply and Australia and New Zealand have a large area of it as a territory. When the war for water starts, we have a significant advantage.

    5) When you are freezing your butts off, we are basking in the sun.

    6) When you are basking in the sun, we are not freezing our butts off. Coz we don't experience the cold temperatures you do.

Can't think of any other advantages right now, but I know there are hundreds more. I hope you don't get too jealous BTW.

    :)

When the time comes that the 88% of us need your water, we'll just take it from the 12% of you like a big kid takes a smaller kid's lunch money! :D  :D

If someone doesn't begin a “anticlockwise” vs “counterclockwise” thread pretty soon, I will. I am also going to throw “un-clockwise” into the hat.

    Hi Pierre,

David is cracking “a joke” – meaning what a useless thing to be discussing.      …I personally prefer “counterclockwise” to the others.

    God bless

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Australian_Antarctic_Territory
The Australian Antarctic Territory (AAT) is a part of Antarctica. It was claimed by the United Kingdom and placed under the authority of the Commonwealth of Australia in 1933. It is the largest territory of Antarctica claimed by any nation.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ross_Dependency
The Ross Dependency is a region of Antarctica defined by a sector originating at the South Pole, passing along longitudes 160° east to 150° west, and terminating at latitude 60° south. New Zealand's claim to the region was formalized in 1923, when the Governor-General of New Zealand was appointed as the Governor of the Ross Dependency by an Imperial Order in Council made in London, United Kingdom.

He he. If you do that, then we won't sell you any kiwifruit and will withdraw all future episodes of Flight of the Conchords.
