I said that all John 17 is a proof that the Holy Spirit is a person.

If I ask you:

HOW DID JESUS ACHIEVE ALL WHAT HE WAS REFERRING TO,WHICH COMMENCED BY HIS GLORIFICATION, SINCE HE WAS DEAD,FOR THREE DAYS.

YOU SIMPLY SAY THROUGH THE HOLY SPIRIT.

SO THE HOLY SPIRIT DID HIS WORK,AND TO DO HIS WORK HE HAD TO BE A PERSON.

ALSO JESUS WAS A HUMAN BEING,AND WITHIN HIS SOUL HAD THE FATHER'S SPIRIT,BUT THROUGH THE HOLY SPIRIT.THE FATHER REMAINED IN HEAVEN.

THIS WAS DEMONSTRATED IN JOHN 3:34 WHICH SAYS THAT HE GIVES THE SPIRIT WITHOUT MEASURE, THEREFORE ALL THE HOLY SPIRIT, PLUS THE FULL POWER FROM THE FATHER WAS WITHIN JESUS' SOUL. THE ONLY WAY TO BE GOD ON EARTH,AS MAN. ALSO BAPTISM IS TO BE MADE :

IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER,THE SON AND THE HOLY SPIRIT,AND SINCE  THE THREE OF THEM ARE IN THE SAME POWER, THEY ALL ARE PERSONS.

TO CONCLUDE:

1 Corinthians 12:11But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.

Notice : it ends: AS HE WILL, and that is a reference to the Holy Spirit,and since the Holy Spirit has a will therefore HE IS A PERSON.

Jesus Christ is not the true God,

Jesus Christ is the son of the true God.

The book of John is about fellowship.

This is the true God, that we have fellowship with the Father and with son Jesus Christ and with our fellow believers.

I John 1:3-5 “That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.
4 And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.
5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.”

That is what what the true God is all about.

“And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.”

“This” the understanding, that we can and should seek fellowship with God and his son and our fellow believers.

“This” understanding is what the true God is all about.

“This” fellowship is all about love and light and walking in love and light.

“This” is all possible because of what God did in Christ Jesus.

And it is clear enough, that although God existed eternally, He only became the true God through His Son.

The Father glorified through His Son.

When we address the Father we must address Him through His Son in order to be certain that we are directing our comunication to the RIGHT TRUE GOD.

THEREFORE NOT JUST GOD

BUT THE TRUE GOD AND JESUS CHRIST.

JESUS CHRIST ESTABLISHED THE TRUTH OF GOD. HE IS THE TRUTH.

HE IS THE ONLY TRUE VISIBLE GOD EVER.

THE FATHER COULD ONLY BE MANIFESTED THROUGH JESUS.

THE FATHER WOULD BE MANIFESTED FOREVER AND EVER ON THE LAST DAY THROUGH JESUS MYSTICAL BODY!!

JESUS WAS CLEAR:

ONLY THROUGH JESUS WE REACH THE FATHER!!

ONLY JESUS WITH THE GLORY OF THE FATHER WILL COME  TO JUDGE ALL OF US AS THE ONLY TRUE VISIBLE GOD.

The holy spirit is not a person.  It is what comes forth out of God, the spirit of truth.  There is power in this type of truth.

Jesus was given the holy spirit as well.  The holy spirit was abiding in him, and God gave it to him.
We are also promised the holy spirit if we seek with a pure heart.
The holy spirit did not become flesh, the Word did.
The holy spirit delivers the truth and the power of the Word.
If we start understanding the scriptures, then the holy spirit is there directing, nudging, guiding & revealing.  It has to grow inside us.
The more we feed, and learn, the more our measure increases of the holy spirit.

Jesus had the full measure of the holy spirit, he was tuned in completely with the Father…on the same frequency.
He wants us to have the same, the fullness of it, to perfectly know God's will.

This does not prove they are 3 persons.  This proves that they are working in unity.  God, his Son & truth.

Another thing to consider;
when the Lamb opened up the seals in heaven, who was there to witness?
…and round about the throne of God were 24 elders, seven spirits of God, four beasts, and thousands of angels.
So why is the holy spirit not mentioned if it is a person?

Hi Georgie, they are synonymous with each other. (2 Cor 5:19 explains John 1:14)

“God was  in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us
“The word” of reconciliation.” (2 Cor 5:19)

In the beginning was the Word,
and the Word was with God,
and the Word was God.

Our bodies are the temple of God
What spirit abides in us?
the spirit of God, or the spirit of the world?

That spirit in us is not a person. Then you would have to call God a person, which he is not. He is so much more than that. His will is inside us, and we listen to that voice.
