When was Jesus born?

We have BC which means before Christ and AD which means The Year of our Lord. So the year now is 2022 meaning that Jesus was born 2022 years ago in year 1AD. But does this agree with history? The answer is no. History tells us a different date.

    True that considering the year 1 BC is followed by AD 1.

    In all likelyhood and keeping in accordance with Gods overall plan,  Im quite convinced that our saviour was born on a holyday,  either trumpets or tabernacles in the fall ( not winter )  one of the MANY reasons true believers are reviled by the holidays . He did, of course , die on another holyday.  passover.

    Well that would be a given kerwin. We cannot be sure of anything till we actually check out the evidence first.

    To all…….I believe Jesus’ death is off by 33 years,  notice how they calculate the years , as BC , (BEFORE CHRIST) , and the AD,  (AFTER CHRIST)   what happened to the years of his life , they left it out, Jesus lived 33 years aprox. Between his birth and his death  right.  So we must pick them up some where right , we have to add the 33 years in somewhere in order to consider the actual time period , Sense Death and Birth,  if we start from after his death , that time must be add to the time .

    So sense Jesus berth there has been 2022 years, but sense his death there has been only 1989 years that have past, leaving us another 13 YEARS TO REACH THE 2000, Year point, scense his death.

    And i believe God does do things in thousand year incriments,  thats one of the the reasons i believe Jesus’ return will be between now and 2033.  Because that will make it 2000 years sense his death. Just, IMO. .

    AD doesn’t mean after death or after Christ. It means Anno Domini, the year of our lord. That is his birth.

    As for thousand year increments, it could be after is death since that is when the ultimate sacrifice was made.

    Further, in the Jewish calendar the year is 5783.

    Yep, the world is about 6000 years old right now – give or take a few hundred years.

    The world means ‘age’. It is aeon or eon.

    But the planet is probably very old and could even have had other worlds / ages / aeons.

    to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen.

    Proclaimer……I agree,  i think our planet is very old , and i believe there were several flood that took place in the past. The flood in the days of Noah , was just the most recent,  our fossil records show the other floods that took place on this earth, in the past.

    I didn’t realize that AD meant what you said , i thought it meant “after his death”,  seem it would have been easer to have just said , AB  INSTEAD OF AD, right? Anyway i still think they missed about 33 years in their calculations  and i still believe Jesus return is between now and tge year 2033, not preaching it as a fact but,  just what i think.

    A lot of things are taking place in this world right now,  seems the evil kingdoms of this earth are beginning to asert themselves more and more,  the world is more instable now,  then it has been in a long time. The Evil kingdoms are becomming more agressive.  This world is more devided by all these various kingdoms then ever , just as predicted  by Daniel about the fifth Bablyon kingdom of the toes,  of iron and clay, would exist , just before the Sixth kingdom of Jesus and the Saints are to come.

    We are close to the fall of the progressive Bablyon kingdoms, for a thousand years of the Reign of Jesus and the Saints, and then Babylons deadly wound inflected by Jesus at his return will be heald for a short season  3 1/2 years, then the return of God the Father himself.  AND,  a whole new time period begins again. IMO.
