We are no longer under any “law”, (forced compliance).
I thought you didn’t believe in free will?

Still not understanding Nick.
Baptism doesn’t save you.
Salvation is not that easy.
It is said that Emperor Constantine was baptized on his deathbed by bishop Eusebius of Nicomedia in 337 AD. If true, did that save him?
You don’t have to answer me. It is a question for you to ponder.

Hi PC,
Foolish notion or the Word of God?

Hi PC,
” Look. Here is water. What is to prevent me from being baptised?”
said the Eunuch.
God will provide the water if needed.

Hi Berean,
“Divine son” makes this man his own God?Did you not know that he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature?
Were you aware that the body we will have is like the glorious body that the Lord Jesus Christ has?
Nick replied to the topic I was baptized into the Trinity in the forum Inspirational writings & sermons 1 year, 9 months ago
Hi PC,
Corresponding to that, baptism now saves you- not the removal of dirt from the flesh, but an appeal to God for a good conscience- through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, who is at the right hand of God, having gone into heaven, after angels and authorities and powers had been subjected to him.
1 Peter 3.21f
baptism saves you.
but you…[Read more]

God is two or more PERSONS.?
My how far from Scripture you have wandered.
Me
God is ONE PERSON AND HE IS THE FATHER OF JESUS CHRIST.
.
1Cor.8:6
But to us there is but one 👉God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him👈; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.
🙏
Good post.

Hi PC,
Repent and be baptised in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
These are the words of God spoken through Peter.
But you find them lacking?
Proclaimer replied to the topic I was baptized into the Trinity in the forum Inspirational writings & sermons 1 year, 9 months ago
I can say with confidence that water baptism doesn’t save you. But repentance and obedience, being born of the Spirit, and being led by that same Spirit will.
If you are just water baptized, that may not count toward salvation. It’s not that easy.
Proclaimer replied to the topic I was baptized into the Trinity in the forum Inspirational writings & sermons 1 year, 9 months ago
Actually Nick, your words are irrelevant to what I teach because baptism is obedience to God which I support and you have to wonder about a person that doesn’t want to be baptized. That said, from your teachings, you can draw the conclusion that imprisoning a person from a pool of water would stop them from salvation, even if they repented,…[Read more]

Hi PC,
What you quoted shows that baptism s the priority of God- in the name of His Son, Jesus Christ.
Acts 2.41 shows us that SOULS ARE ADDED (3000) by Water Baptism.
Philip baptised the Eunuch and was immediately taken away.
but folks prefer their own opinion and not scripture.
Nick replied to the topic I was baptized into the Trinity in the forum Inspirational writings & sermons 1 year, 9 months ago
Baptism in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins is a command of God given by the Spirit in Peter. Your worries and opinions do not change that.

Now when the apostles in Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the Word of God, they sent them Peter and John, who came down and prayed for them that they might receive the Holy Spirit, for He had not yet fallen upon any of them: they had simply been baptised in the name of the Lord Jesus. Then they began laying their hands on them, and they…

Now there was a disciple at Damascus named Ananias; and the Lord said to him in a
vision,
“ Ananias”
and he said to him,
” Here I am Lord”,
And the Lord said to him,
“Get up and go to the street called Straight, and inquire at the house of Judas for a man named Saul, for he is praying and he has seen in a vision a man called Ananias c…[Read more]

@Danny,
That means there’s a contradiction between the OT and NT; that means our unchanging God, changed; God calls himself savior in the OT, yet is unable to save in the NT. Have to wonder…
I’ll ask again, what is the difference between the Jewish Messiah and the Christian Messiah or are they the same? Before you blurt out your rehearsed…[Read more]

Hi desiretruth,
You: God loves me because HE created me and I don’t need a middleman to go to HIM.
Me: 1 John 4:14 And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.
The Truth is the truth, even when you reject it.

Hi DesireTruth,
First let me say I can understand how it is you have much to sort out after having been brought up in a church full of lies. You are certainly going to have many problems aligning the NT with the OT and as well the NT with itself if you can’t see many NT scriptures in a different light then what you were taught. There have been…[Read more]

Berean…….You seem to have the same problem Desire Truth had, you think that the only way to God the Father is through Jesus, because he said , no one come to the Father except by me, but because you don’t understand the Greek word “dia” as meaning through the channel or way I do it, you are mislead to thinking that by the man Jesus we can…[Read more]

Desire Truth…….You said ….if your focus has changed from Jesus to God the Father, then what do you have to repent of.
My answer to you is your focus should have been on God the Father from the beginning, Jesus simply was showing us how to stay focused on God, exactly as he did. I think I see your problem now you were allowing false re…[Read more]
