Naah Berean,
He was the same nature as you and I, an ordinary man, till God anointed him with the Holy Spirit, transforming his nature and empowering him for service.
Nick replied to the topic JOHN 1:1 who is the WORD? in the forum Scriptural Teachings 1 year, 9 months ago
You are the Christ, the son of the living God.
This statement was confirmed by Jesus to be from the Holy Spirit.
But folks prefer their own carnal understandings and want to make the Son his God,

Hi Desiretruth,
You: Please explain John 18:31 where the religious leaders say it wasn’t lawful for them to put anyone to death under Roman law. The leaders were going to stone Jesus in one place and
in another they remember they can’t?!?! Something doesn’t make sense.
Me :It is irrelevant!

“But what about you?” Jesus asked. “Who do you say I am?”
Simon Peter answered, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”

@desire Truth
Am I not understanding something here?!?!?
Me
What You don’t understand IS that the Son of GOD Who ,in the biginning ,was with God, WAS of the same nature as GOD his Father.
This IS why John wrote : AND THE WORD WAS GOD….

Gene,
You: “Jesus simply was showing us how to stay focused on God, exactly as he did.”
Me: Unfortunately this isn’t what Christianity is about and is why the old side differs from the new side.
Me……l realized that, a long time ago, and I could care less what “Christianity” thinks. The truth is found in the summation of scriptures , but to s…[Read more]

@Gene,
You: “how was “Israel” “EVER”. a suffering servant of God,”
Me: I have explained this to you a few times and posted links back to where I explained it. I have asked you who is speaking where in Is 52:13-53:12 and have offered my understanding of it. Yet, you keep going back to making Israel claiming to be the “suffering” servant and tha…[Read more]

Desire Truth……. I have ask you over and over, to explain “how was “Israel” “EVER”. a suffering servant of God, if you are claiming that, then it is incumbent upon you to show us in what way they were suffering servants. I HAVE FOUND IT NO WHERE IN OUR SCRIPTURES. You have never explained that to us, so your “new” belief is just an “assumpt…[Read more]

Nick you said………>Forgiveness of sins is offered by baptism in the name of the Lord.
Scripture does warn about dying in your sins.
Washing of the feet symbolises the need to constantly seek God’s forgiveness after baptism.

So the answer is no.

Sorry.
It was another Eusebius, Eusebius of Nicomedia, not Eusebius of Caesarea who baptised Constantine.

Hi Desiretuth,
You: Did Jesus ever claim to be God,
John 8:58 Jesus said to them: Amen, amen I say to you,
before Abraham was made,
I am.
59They took up stones therefore to cast at him.
But Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple.

FATHER.

Hi PC,
I have not said that only those who have been correctly baptised will be saved because it is the decision of the loving Fathers to make.
But Heb 4 does warn about missing out on the rest of God.
Many will be given mercy I am sure.
But safety first.
