We are created and later on, born again.
First the flesh and then the Spirit.
Jesus Christ is the Word of God who was WITH God.
He is the only begotten of God and divine.
But he came in the flesh.
But now he is in the glory he had with the Father before the cosmos.
And our bodies will be like his.
He calls us brother.
God calls us children.

He is not God himself, but was divine.
He is not created, but was man.
He is the Son of God.
The Word of God.
Born of God.
Only begotten.
He is unique.
The first to be with God.
In between God and man.
Have you not read that the head of the man is Christ and the head of Christ is God?

Chapter 11
Application of the principle to the study of Armageddon
Applying the principle of the harmony of interpretation and Christian experience in connection with the Revelator’s description of Armageddon (Rev. 16:12-16), we learn that, as a description of a military battle between nations in Palestine, it…[Read more]

The Harlot and the Beast
Chapters 17 and 18 of Revelation reveal the details of the collapse of the Roman Empire. The details concerning the pouring out of the seven bowls of wrath are now given and explained in chapters 17-18. This is the point of the first two verses of Revelation 17. One of the seven angels who had poured out one of the…[Read more]

Gene,
You have been shown a clear, grammatical reason that proves your use of the Greek word “dia” is misleading and now you have chosen to continue to mislead others. You will be accountable to the Lord Jesus for that.
Btw, it is not a doctrine that tells us that dia means “by the instrumentality of” when the genitive word follows it, it’s…[Read more]

Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the Word of God
One of the most consistent ways that scripture identifies Jesus Christ as the Word of God is the recognition that God created all things through him, that he is before all things, and that nothing was made without him.
THE WORD
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word…[Read more]Proclaimer wrote a new post 5 years ago

It’s pretty clear what the text says
You either believe this about Jesus Christ or you don’t.
Gene has chosen not to believe. He thinks that is a myth like gadam.
Of course we have free will, so we can believe whatever we want and face the consequences whatever that may be.
It’s so clear in the text though.
The Son
The Son is the image of the…[Read more]GeneBalthrop replied to the topic Did God create all things through the Lord Jesus Christ? in the forum Scriptural Teachings 5 years ago
LU……Makes no difference to me what you do. I will maintain that the words by and even “through” means Jesus is the “reason” for what God had in mind for his creation of all Mankind even “the man” Jesus. “Through” takes the form as a channel ” the way”, is that not what Jesus said? , “I am the way” , the “way’ to what? , to be a God, to be y…[Read more]

Gene,
You told Berean this:
Berean……how many’s times do I have to tell you, the word “by” there means , for the purpose of.
Translating “dia” (Strong’s #1223) is clarified by what type of word follows it. If the word after “dia” is in the genitive case it is translated as “through” or “by the instrumentality of” as opposed to the accusative case…[Read more]

I approach the book of Daniel, by FAITH because it is a book inspired by God. What I advise you to do, because in the end you will end up losing yourself completely and losing your life.
Yes that is the difference and thanks for your advice. In fact I am happy where I am now.

Hi Berean, please note I am not any fundamentalist to take the Biblical texts as for granted to take them as the endtime predictions. In fact I study these texts with historical approach and with critical outlook.
Please read my posts carefully and understand the clarity of those arguments.

There is no reason that this Daniel said here should be used for any improper reason. Daniel consulted the book of Jeremiah which announced a captivity of the Israelites of 70 years, and as the 70 years approached their end, this prompted him to pray and supplicate to his God.
