Hi Proclaimer
The mix of iron (Roman Empire) with clay does explain well, the fact that the fourth empire was taken over by the Ottomans who kept the capital city and renamed it. Remember that it is part strong and part weak and the two di not cleave to one another

Gadam, history is incomplete. And one of the reasons for that is the victors get to write it. The bear was lopsided because one was stronger than the other. Daniel says that they both conquered Babylon and this could be explained by the idea that neither could have done it alone. But later as we see, the Persians were stronger and they would have…[Read more]

Thanks Berean.
It’s not worth reading gadam’s long posts that need Medo Persia to be two separate kingdoms. That is a complete waste of time.
Gadam, could you perhaps say in the opening paragraph if this idea of yours is required. That way I can ignore the post. And it will encourage me to read posts that do not require this as I know I will be…[Read more]

Median dynasty
The list of Median rulers and their period of reign is compiled according to two sources. Firstly, Herodotus who calls them “kings” and associates them with the same family. Secondly, the Babylonian Chronicle which in “Gadd’s Chronicle on the Fall of Nineveh” gives its own list. A combined list stretching over 150 years is…[Read more]gadam123 replied to the topic The Beast Revealed in the forum Prophecy 4 years, 11 months ago

The problem is your posts are so long that you can never find anything and most will not read them.
A conversation is easier to follow than a series of essays.
So I will assume that you have no smoking gun evidence for what you say.
But if you do, feel free to make a post about it.

The four beasts matches the Beast of Revelation

The dragon stood on the shore of the sea. And I saw a beast coming out of the sea. It had ten horns and seven heads, with ten crowns on its horns, and on each head a blasphemous name. The beast I saw resembled a leopard, but had feet like those of a bear and a mouth like that of a lion. The dragon…[Read more]

A fourth beast, with large iron teeth and ten horns

A fourth beast.–This is so different from the preceding three, and so terrible in appearance, that Daniel can hardly find words to describe it. The distinguishing feature of it is the power which it possesses of breaking and stamping out all that it meets. In this way it corresponds to “iron…[Read more]

WE ARE THE SARMENTS
I am the vine; you, the branches. He who abides in me bears much fruit, for without me you can do nothing. (John 15.5)

Until he surrenders his heart unconditionally to God, the human agent does not…[Read more]
